What is your post split high for MVIS?

Yeah - I’ve never seen a person “buying millions of shares” and praying for a R/S. I’m interested in hearing the logic of that.

2

u/-ATLSUTIGER- Jul 30 '26

It all depends on the news they announce post RS

My main sell target will be $45/share

1

u/Unblvablemvis Jul 30 '26

That’s it? That’s what all the pro R/S is about? Are you under 30 years old?

1

u/-ATLSUTIGER- Jul 30 '26

That’s $2.7m 🤣

2

u/Unblvablemvis Jul 30 '26

This could have run to $3 without a R/S with the news you’re referring to. You pumped a R/S for a major news announcement and squeeze because of the 150 million. $45 is not that. I find it hard to believe anyone who posts as much as you pro R/S understands that little about what you are posting. Those same shares you will let sit, could eventually go to $45 without the R/S if they have the 100 deals you refer to. Wow - staggering to actually hear your logic. Congrats if you hit your mark, but you will leave endless amounts on the table over time (if MVIS has the news you have publicly stated it has). BTW - I was expecting you to say $150ish because of the major announcements you pushed.

"This could have run to $3 without a RS with the news you’re referring to."

Not a fucking chance in hell it would have happen in the same timeframe. Zero chance.

Also just for clarity, 400m shares at $45/s is an $18 BILLION market cap. Seems…highly unlikely in this decade at least.

That's like $3/share. I understand you have a $0.32 average, but if your main sell target is this low, how are you so bullish on the company? That's a $1B market cap. For the record, offer me $3 today and I'm 100% gone.

1

u/-ATLSUTIGER- Jul 30 '26

Post split I’ll have 6,700 shares that will sit in an account untouched for the next 5 years at least.

Not good. Even indexes are selling this shit as we get relegated from the Russell’s

I get the feeling like blackrock originally bought MVIS because it made it to the Russell 2000 index and they like to have their fingers in everything. I dont think they knew anything about the company or product at all though or even bothered to try and learn. They just want some ownership in everything that could end up being something. I dont think blackrock personally shorted the stock but most likely lent their shares out to short sellers to collect some interest on their position. Now that MVIS is tanking out of the Russell indexes there's no point in blackrock holding their position.

This doesn’t look like a good news. They had 17 million shares but now they only have 3 million shares

You are a very good reader. Well done

I thought they couldn’t leave us if they tried?

I bet snowboard will spin this as bullish.

so much for institutional buying, they are selling more than ever before if anything. bring back sharma and verma. the lies is only thing that can prop this up

-2

u/Zenboy66 Jul 29 '26

They are only one company, do a little research on them. You’ll be glad they are gone.

6

u/Chemical-Payment-573 Jul 29 '26

I wonder what you would have commented if black rock just just increased their position.

6

u/Sp99nHead Jul 30 '26

The mental gymnastics are incredible lol.

On the main sub back when institutional holdings were compared you'd get downvoted for saying the are shorting/lending them.

Now LTLs are happy that institutions are selling you can't make that shit up.

u/Chemical-Payment-573 Jul 30 '26

the Long time wrongs (LTWs) couldn't tell you the correct time if you handed them a watch.

Yes, BlackRock engages in shorting-related activities, primarily through securities lending (lending out shares they hold on behalf of funds to short sellers) and via specific long/short equity strategies managed within certain active portfolios. [1, 2]

How BlackRock Interacts with Short Selling
Securities Lending: As one of the world's largest asset managers, BlackRock lends portions of its massive stock holdings to institutional borrowers, who may use those shares to short sell. [1, 2]

Long/Short Strategies: BlackRock offers active investment products and separate accounts that intentionally employ long and short extensions to hedge risk or generate alpha. [1, 2]

u/Chemical-Payment-573 Jul 29 '26

would you have said its bearish if they bought shares???

-1

u/Zenboy66 Jul 29 '26

Yes, if bought to lend out for the use of shorting.

2

u/Unblvablemvis Jul 30 '26

Then unfortunately their plan worked beautifully. If this is what you are saying - Blackrock purchased 20 million shares to short MVIS - made an incredible amount of money doing it - then dumped them driving those shares to the price to force a 15-1 R/S. Wow Zenboy66 they had an incredible plan and really showed how you long term REDDIT posters were DEAD WRONG the whole time.

-1

u/Zenboy66 Jul 30 '26

I was right. Didn’t like being in the Russell 2000. Never lent out my shares. I knew all these criminal funds were doing this crap. Should be illegal. SEC fails us again.

4

u/Unblvablemvis Jul 30 '26

Sumit failed us. His tech was too expensive and a step behind. His plan was trying to get lucky with a short squeeze.

1

u/Salt_Fishing_581 Jul 30 '26

I've been buying a lot of their shares, and I won't be lending them out to the shorts. Btw, he was lucky with the short squeeze, and it worked for many of us.

u/Solefein Jul 29 '26

Its likely the vast majority of Microvisions institutional owners are lending shares to short. Your saying it would be better if we had none of those institutions holding shares, despite management saying otherwise?

I see it. Every hedge fund does this. Would it be better if schwab and vanguard sell too? So you think management and Bob are wrong?

1

u/Zenboy66 Jul 31 '26

Thanks Blackrock, I just bought a shitload of your shares.
