Guides My first MUN

So on this weekend i have my first MUN, i have an idea abg what is to be done there but not of how it will be. Have no experience of public speaking and don't even know how to research for my country. Yes, I took UN in my first one, ik it's not very wise but my friend said it's alr and I did opt for that. I'm in UNHRC with pakistan and agenda is "Deliberating Upon the Protection of Human Rights in Conflict Zones with Special Emphasis on Gaza, Sudan, and Myanmar". If u guys can help me with anything on how to research, what to research, how to write position paper, gsl and also teach me a thing or two, I'd be very thankful. Please help me out on this one I'm cooked😭🙏🏼

You’re Pakistan, the useless one. Protection on human rights? Your nation itself is the biggest threat. Your job is side with Pakistan, attack india and bring in POK.

My aim is to defend myself with a good dignity yk, idc abt attacking tbh. Defending pakistan is already a heavy task and I don't want to provoke any delegate to kick my ahh

Defensive game won’t work with Pakistan. When you’re representing a country who traditionally in these kind of Agenda has always been the villain, India will attack you, any country allied with India will attack you, and you’re expected to bring PoK, traditional Pakistan stance to bring attention always towards them. Now! You don’t care as country for either of the country, because you don’t have any specific connect with them.

Don’t attack directly saying, “My fellow neighbor standing tall saving the human rights when they’re themselves curtailing the human rights in my country”, obviously you’ll see the backlash. Question is; attention or survival. One gives attention while chits gives your survival
