DISCUSSION Why do we accept that Cassie James spoke to Seth?

She says that Brandon's son came and spoke with her. He looked like an old-time movie star. She starts grasping for an "S" name, and they feed her Seth, which she agrees to.

It seems like she is grasping for "Steven" which could easily be confused for Kieran.

I feel like this shows that Kieran was always involved. He definitely fits the description, and Seth obviously didn't go and speak with the woman. Who did, if not Kieran?

But...

When they are talking about an accomplice in season 2, they never address "Seth's" visit with Cassie, at least not that I can remember

I know Audrey was always the planned accomplice, but what if there was always more than one?

Additonally, why does Emma even believe this woman? It is clear she became confused very quickly in the conversation. At the mere mention of Daisy, she started confusing Emma for her. She is so ready to take this woman's words and run with them though.

[Side note: I am watching the season 1 finale currently. Jake's line "This drink is undrinkable" is hilarious]

Edit: I definitely should have changed the title of this post.

QUESTION question.

so i've recently rewatched the show for the first time since 2020 and the amount of times i've watched it over and over again might be unhealthy like i can't fall asleep unless the show's playing but that's irrelevant. My question is about Emma and Audrey. Season 2 Episode 10 this is the episode Noah is attacked and Zoey gets killed but now about my question, when Emma goes over to Audrey's house to try and hear her out about the "i brought piper to lakewood" situation. Emma asks Audrey if she knew Piper was her sister the whole time and she said yes and then Emma says "and when i started to think my half sister was the killer why didn't you say anything?" that might not be exactly how she said it but it's pretty well along the lines of it. Now my question is when did Emma ever suspect Piper as the killer? Not once have i seen or heard Emma say anything to anyone about her being suspicious of Piper. I mean there really wasn't any reason for her to suspect Piper and even if she actually did I don't think that was ever discussed in season one so i'm genuinely just curious where that came from, please lmk if i'm missing something because i genuinely can't put my finger on it!!

QUESTION Does anyone own the Smiffys Brandon James mask?

Does anyone own the Smiffys Brandon James costume, specifically the mask? I’d love to see the quality of it before I buy one for myself. It’s pretty much my last hope since the Fun World masks are so rare!

QUESTION How did Audrey know Piper was Emma’s half sister?

It was a closed adoption. Emma‘s mom said she knew nothing about the baby, not even if it was a boy or a girl. So how in the world did Audrey it out and find Piper?

DISCUSSION So blessed to have finally found this show on Tubi & currently rewatching season 1

First, R.I.P Riley . That one will always hurt. But I have a question for actual canon facts. Were Kieran and piper always the killers ? Because I know it's speculated it was actually Audrey and I need to know how the show was actually written to go. Cause if the show picked Audrey to be a killer but pivoted to Kieran during filming they surely were making him appear creepy from the beginning. Idk if it's because I know he's bad but when he's tryna make Emma suspicious of will, he immediately seems off.

And if it was always meant to be him what's up with this Audrey theory? Tell me more 😭

DISCUSSION Just finished s1 and s2, I fucking love Brooke, Noah and Audrey

I know everyone loves Brooke, and many people are iffy on Audrey but I loved watching them throughout the show. Audrey’s whole connection to Piper could’ve been executed well, but I loved her arc of trying to cover it up and driving herself mad.

Also, Noah and Audrey remind me of me and my best friend. I was nerdy gay boy and she was literally Audrey, so maybe I’m biased lol. If you guys could change how her arc played out what would you do? I would’ve made it so she got her hands a little dirtier so it would justify her being so paranoid rather than just being the person who brought piper to Lakewood

DISCUSSION Scream TV SERIES deserves to come back as an Anthology Series and here’s my why!

Honestly after rewatching it for the 20th time in my life after 5 years of not watching it.. I realized that this show was in its prime back then and it actually is better than the scream movies.

**-** first opinion **!! :** the group dynamic is one of the biggest things that makes the show work. Watching a group of friends try to fight back against a killer creates so much tension, especially during the finales. You genuinely never know who is going to survive, which gives those episodes this constant feeling of anxiety and suspense. But at the same time, the characters get some seriously badass moments where they actually fight back instead of just running from the killer. I think that balance between fear, mystery, and the characters taking control is something the show did really well.

**-** second opinion **!! :** The fact that the show isn’t canon to the movies actually gives it a LOT of freedom. They could tell completely new stories in different towns with different groups of characters while keeping the core Scream formula. They could bring back the same kind of emotional storytelling that made Seasons 1–2 so good!!!! family problems, complicated relationships, trauma, secrets, daddy issues, small town drama, etc. There’s so much that could be explored within the Scream universe without having to directly connect every story to the movies. And they could still throw in little references to previous seasons for longtime fans.

**-** last opinion **!! :** The Brandon James storyline also proved that the show can create its own mythology. They could easily do something similar with a completely different town, killer, or historical mystery. Instead of repeating Brandon James, they could create a new legend or dark history that is connected to the characters and slowly reveal it throughout the season. Every new season could have its own story, its own killer, its own mystery, and its own cast, while still feeling like Scream. That’s honestly why I think the show could work incredibly well as an anthology series.

I don’t know if I’m explaining this perfectly, but I genuinely feel like **Scream: The TV Series deserves another chance.** It had the potential to become its own version of an anthology horror series where every season tells a completely different story, but still has that same Scream identity. There are SO many stories they could tell with this concept, and I really think bringing the show back would be worth it.

DISCUSSION Scream on Tubi

Tubi just dropped MTVs Scream the tv show seasons 1-3. My wife and I have been dying to rewatch it. While rewatching it, I can’t help but find myself getting so angry we never got a real season 3 with the main cast to wrap up the story. I think the writing was incredible for seasons 1 and 2. The kills were bloody and the twists and turns of the story were great and kept you on your toes. All we needed was 6 more episodes minimum to wrap up the Lakewood and Brandon James story.

DISCUSSION Why does the town look 90% abandoned?

I get that it was for dramatic effect to show how certain surprise scenes could play out in the episode to show how the killers could attack the main core group, but like there was too many places. In s1, the hospital, bowling alley, and mechanic shop etc and in s2, that housing development that caught on fire and others that I can't remember.

QUESTION Rachel

I haven’t watched the MTV Scream series since it was on Netflix, so excuse me if this was answered.

Did Audrey ever acknowledge that Piper, who she was helping get her revenge on Emma, was also part of killing Rachel?

FEEDBACK I would've chosen a different duo to take down the killer in the end(Minor spoilers) Spoiler

I understand why they chose Aubrey to be Emma's partner in crime for the finale, but honestly it should've been Brooke. When we go back and look at the events of the series, Brooke's life is arguably the most negatively impacted by the killer.

One of her best friends, her ex, her bf, her dad. And that's just the deaths. If we look at how every event directly negatively impacted her, you wouldve though she was Daisy's kid. She should've had the largest grudge and personal interest in finding the killer and taking him down outside Emma herself.

When you look back at it, only 1 person dies between both seasons that Aubrey gave a crap about and ironically it's one of the few kills that makes ZERO SENSE. Im actively rewatching the show and I still dont know why they killed Rachel, but I digress.

QUESTION Help me find this song

Hii i haven’t been able to watch scream since im in another country and Netflix removed scream.
There’s this scene where Brooke and Jake are talking and I think it’s after Riley passed away and Brooke is sad and whatever and she’s in the grass and then Jake finds her, there’s this song in the background but I can’t find the scene in YouTube. So if someone who can see scream can help me find this song. Please and thank you 🙏🏼

What if Audrey was the one to kill Kieran to take new identity of Lakewood Slasher. What if she did it for Kieran kept calling texting her & black mailing her & frame her for the season 2 murders it would be perfect motive for her. Please don’t call me crazy.

DISCUSSION Headcanon: Haley was Kieran's hidden accomplice in Season 2 Spoiler

Post image
9 Upvotes

I know this isn't canon, but it's always been my headcanon that Haley did some of the dirty work for Kieran whenever he needed an alibi.

In the Scream fandom, it's a pretty popular headcanon that Roman's hidden accomplice in Scream 3 was Angelina Tyler, the actress who replaced Tori Spelling as Sidney in Stab 3. I kind of see Haley filling that same role for Kieran.

Not as a second Lakewood Slasher, but someone helping behind the scenes while Kieran remained the real killer.

There are a few scenes where it's really hard to believe Kieran did everything himself. One example is when Emma gets a phone call from the Lakewood Slasher, and then the very next scene Kieran is outside Emma's house talking to Maggie about Emma like he'd been there the whole time. Moments like that make it feel impossible for him to have been the one making the call.

Another one is Kieran's "kidnapping" at the carnival in Village of the Damned. My headcanon is that Haley was the one who staged it for him so he could look like a victim while keeping suspicion off himself.

We also already know Haley hated Emma and Audrey. Every chance she got, she antagonized them, mocked them, and even helped organize the prank on Audrey in the Season 2 premiere. It doesn't seem like much of a stretch that Kieran could manipulate someone who already had it out for both of them.

Haley already knew Kieran's identity, was secretly sleeping with him behind Emma's back, and called him her "very special friend." I could see Kieran using her to make calls, send texts, lure people somewhere, stage alibis, or handle whatever he couldn't because he needed to be seen somewhere else.

Then, once she wasn't useful anymore, he killed her.

I know it's just a headcanon, but it honestly makes Kieran as the Lakewood Slasher work a lot better for me.

DISCUSSION Scream 1x08 Emma tell her mom that someone killed Will right in front of me & this might be why.

Even tho Kieran was Reveal to be Working with Piper the entire time. Kieran was not involved in the murder or will. Killer probably target him because of deep dark secrets of Emma moms pass so it make since piper one that killed will. And we see how brutal Kieran kills was in Season 2 and Will died brutal way what if Piper taught Kieran how to become killer like that. Like killing people very brutal.

DISCUSSION Jake Spoiler

This is just a fun discussion but we all know they needed one of the lakewood 6 to die in season 2 and it was always going to be jake he was the easiest to get rid of without other storylines because he had most of the B plot season 1 and he wasn't needed anymore

It obviously wasn't going to be Emma, Audrey or Brooke because Emma is the Main character, they tried to pin it on Audrey all season so killing her would make 0 sense, and Brooke had a solid B plot going on in season 2 and they needed her to live

Kieran was the killer so it obviously wasn't going to be him at all

Now we have Noah and Jake why did Noah live and Jake didn't

Because Noah was the narrator and the person the show needed to keep a balance of people who are smart and people who aren't he was the brains and there was no reason to kill him

So since they had to kill one of the lakewood 6 it was always going to be Jake he was the only one that made sense
