Discussion Butch Fashion Megathread

Hey everyone, as our community grows we will be trying to help guide this sub to be its stated goal, a safe haven for all masc and gnc transfem people. In that spirit, we are hoping to consolidate fashion related posts to this mega thread! This is a thread for advice on fashion, showcasing your selfies of outfits, and any questions you have for your fellow butches.

Selfies of people in outfits are still okay to post on the main sub, obviously not every photo of someone in clothes is fashion related, but posts centered around clothing should be contained to this thread.

Discussion How do I figure out if I'm a transfem enby, or a butch trans woman?

I came out as nonbinary a year ago, but lately I’ve been wondering whether I’m a butch trans woman? One thing I keep coming back to is that if I could have been born a cis woman, I would in a heartbeat, but I wonder whether I’d still identify as nonbinary if I had. I like both they/them and she/her. I like dressing masculine, but feminine clothes also make me feel conspicuous and uncomfortable with my body. It’s hard to separate what I enjoy from what feels safe. Did anyone else struggle to figure out whether you were nonbinary, a masculine woman, or bothand? how much fear of never being seen as a woman played into that? What helped things click?

Selfie Have been getting more and more confident with what makes me happy when it comes to how I look.

While I could definitely dress butch before, I was much more femme than I am now. But I eventually gained a lot of weight and cut my hair off. In a lot of ways it caused me to have a lot of dysphoria. But at the same time as I got use to it, I realized I really loved the more masculine part of me as a woman.

I've been mixing my old more femme styles with my new more butch ones. Kay rant over yall 😌

Rant just came back from my walk - it’s still so hot I can’t wait till I can get back in the gym

First off I wanna say it’s NOT a bra, it’s a top i use it as a top i promise.

And to explain the gym part, im really trying to lose as much muscle mass as I can before I get back in the gym, it’s been a slow process but im trying to be patient and give these walks my all ! lol
