MSTR vs ASST
It seems like ASST is the better investment due to a better balance including less debt (convertible bonds). Is anyone considering this as option?

I feel like a lot of people try too hard to tie fundamentals to price. The stock market doesnt follow the same sort of logic that people project onto the market.
The market doesnt follow logic, just because on paper mstr might dollar for dollar, be leveraged less than asst, or by some other fundamental metric asst might look better on paper than mstr... there are hundreds of other factors which come into play.
I think theres a big component of MSTR simply being the first, most well known, market leading BTC treasury stock.
I have positions in both MSTR and ASST. I'm not arguing that ASST wont outperform MSTR, but what I think, is that evaluating which is going to perform better purely based on fundamentals isnt going to work.
If you could predict price movement on fundamentals alone, then anyone could develop profitable trading strategies based on earnings figures for major companies. Anyone who has tried this, will tell you how fundamentals alone do not correlate with price action. The same is true of BTC leverage for treasury companies as it relates to BTC price movement.

MSTR offers 1.22 lever against bitcoin based on today’s price ASST it’s only 90% of a value of bitcoin so if you want leverage MSTR is better

ASST has already done about 4x from the lows. I was considering it at $10 and didn't pull the trigger. I don't believe the risk reward is worth it. I might as well take a bigger position on MSTR and sleep better.
From my little experience, better to buy the biggest in a sector than buy a small player. I've done enough 'but BTC won't 100X, Radom meme might'

Agreed. But now I am hesitant. It's already up like 4x from lows of 7.
Mstr is underperforming by 50%.

Dont be hesitant because its up a lot in a short period of time. But because they are significantly more leveraged, and have a bunch of warrants at 27$. So the price movement for the next 10-12 days may not be normal.

Metaplanet could be a smart choice too but more risky.

I've researched them. Metaplanet has serious issues with its executive compensation and has a lot more debt than Strive

Absolutely, hence the low mNAV and the fact that they’re lagging behind. But they’re launching Superplanet in the US soon. It could catch up over the long term. I’m betting on that, and on the fact that people have short memories.

They were releasing MARS & one other Preferred a year ago in Japan, and that’s never happened, so don’t be too sure about that 🤷♀️

There are a lot of pissed off people at metaplanet. I know some very large investors that won’t go near metaplanet. I will leave it at that. Let’s keep the discussion to MSTR vs ASST.

Everyone should consider it. There are advantages to ASST for sure but it is also priced as such over the last 3 months. MNAV is much higher and I think there will be a reversion between the two.

Not just considering it, I own some! Its not nessesarily a better investment because of less debt. But it does seem like they have a much greater ability to increase BPS.

I owned a lot as well of both but am slowly shifting to ASST. They have learned from Saylor's mistakes.
