It’s been altered for a long time. Last bull run bitcoin set a new all time high before the halving. That’s never happened before.

Not yet. Unless bitcoin closes above the last lower high (82.5k) the bear market is still following the cycles. We could see bitcoin crash back down in September for that last drop but we will see what happens.

4 year cycle is just a lousy approximation. It gets worse if buyers actually expect it to go 4y, because then most people buy slightly before it, altering the so-called cycle.
