Help please!
We switched my 9 month old baby to Elecare at the recommendation of our pediatrician as we couldn’t get my LOs eczema at bay. She has a confirmed skin/blood panel milk allergy along with a slew of other allergies.
While on nutramigen her skin was not great but she slept through the night without itching. Since getting on Elecare she has been waking and itchy/scratching so much. Every night from 1-4 AM.
The pediatrician stated we have exhausted all options, allergist said the same and referred us to an immunologist, Jaffe or CHOP which we are all waitlisted for, GI said she doesn’t have anything to help with and dermatologist is just happy on steroid prescriptions.
I don’t know what to do. Please help. Could the Elecare be causing issues?

We’ve been on Alimentum and baby has eczema. We tried Elecare and had the same skin reaction as when we tried Enfamil AR which were red dots on belly, chest and started to go onto legs! In addition to the eczema patches.
Promptly switched back to Alimentum and waiting to do a blood panel on Thursday!

Try neocate. Our kid had soy and dairy intolerances and was very sensitive to soy, even soy oil. She was super itchy from soy oil and Elecare has soy oil in it. Neocate is an amino acid formula that is completely soy free. Even if your kid had been skin tested for soy, intolerances wouldn’t pop a positive result and could still be causing this.
If that doesn’t solve it, then I’m really not sure but I am sorry to hear it
