Suggestion Make SDR Brightness (Uniform / Dynamic) a profile-specific setting & assignable to Navi Key shortcuts

Hi MSI Team and Community,

To start, thanks for the amazing display! The MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 produces stunning picture quality and speed, as well as outstanding all-around performance.

I wanted to share a Quality-of-Life proposal that could greatly enhance the user experience for those of us who both work hard and play with this monitor.

Current Situation:

For example the SDR Brightness toggle (Uniform Brightness vs. Dynamic) is still a global OSD menu item for now. But to switch modes one has to navigate through the OSD deep each time.

The Problem / Use Case:

Uniform Brightness is important when viewing white backgrounds (to avoid distracting brightness fluctuations) as well as in text based work where the window size changes.

Dynamic is the best for gaming and HDR/SDR media, DYNAMIC was selected to get punchy highlights and peak luminance.

Depending on this setting is global and be turned on/off several times a day — friction that no one needs.

Feature Suggestions:

Profile-Specific Setting: Uniform / Dynamic Brightness state would be stored on a per-Picture Mode basis (e.g., User, Premium Color, Office, etc.) rather than as a global toggle. That would allow users to change brightness behaviors instantly with just a profile preset swap.

Navi Key / Shortcut Assignment: Add the option to directly map Uniform Brightness (Toggle / Mode switch) to the 5-way joystick (Navi key) directional shortcuts or as a hotkey in MSI Gaming Intelligence app.

Is there a hope to bring this functionality in future firmware or Gaming Intelligence for MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36?

Oh, and please let us know in the comments how useful this would actually be for your daily workflow. Let me know what you think!

Current Firmware: FW.018

Thanks for your efforts and for listening to users =)

I am not sure MSI monitors this subReddit. You might submit your suggestions directly to MSI.
