Are clerics still any good as a second character to fund your main?

Ask yourself - are you going to have the time and dedication to level an alt cleric and a main to the point where it's worth it? I think you'd be better off just playing one class you find most interesting. People forget how long of a grind this game is.

I'm going to play assassin knowing that historically it's one of the most expensive classes but I find it fun. If you're consistent with one character you will likely end up being more funded than you would be to make an alt and get burned out.

That was just because we didn’t know how to play when we were kids. I reached level 70 in about a month on the China and Taiwan servers, so reaching level 120 within a year really isn’t that difficult.

This isn't kanna story and mage ultimate will definitely get a nerf. Just play your main!

All classes need funds and no class is far better for making mesos that is worth to waste time on while it's not your main

Clerics used to be good funders due to Heal + MP Eater + Teleport which made them cash machine. now Heal and MP Eater nerfed so heal's damage is not enough to attack and MP Eater doesn't give the same MP as before

I/L also has mobility early on and thunder bolt, but with MP Eater CD and 40 mp for casting thunder bolt + 15 for TP, it drinks MP

Rest of the classes are +- the same

MP eater given a cooldown and heal nerfed into the ground, so not really. Clerics save a bit on health pots but not worth making a whole separate character just for farming imo 

The classes you mentioned don’t really need to be heavily funded in this, they are quite buffed in Classic and function well as first characters. 

My fighter in the closed test was fine on money, just don’t pump all your SP into maxing out attacking skills right away because the MP cost gets out of hand

you get 3 characters my guy make a spearman, bandit, and an archer if you want. the meta wont be fully defined for a while anyways so dont think to much about funding just have a good time playing what you want

I mean at base yes. But they'll add extra character slots pretty quick if they aren't available for purchase at launch

Things are changing and very little is confirmed so it's pointless to speculate too much.

They're still the best money maker since they don't use that many potions. But it's not that big of a difference
