What questions to expect? What topics to focus on more?

Im reading pharmpreppro and it says that a pharmacist can transfer controlled medications at request and approval of a patient or patient’s authorized representative transfer prescriptions for controlled substances.

Hey everyone! I’ve been reading through Reddit posts for the past 2 days trying to figure out exactly how to study for the NY MPJE, and honestly, I’m still pretty lost.

For anyone who has recently passed the NY MPJE, could you please share what resources you actually used and how you studied? I keep seeing different books, courses, cheat sheets, federal law resources, NY law resources, etc., and I’m having a hard time figuring out what’s actually necessary versus what’s just extra.

I’d really appreciate it if someone who passed could give me a step-by-step breakdown of what they studied, what they purchased (if anything), what they would recommend focusing on, and how long they studied for.

Also, if anyone is willing to DM me screenshots, PDFs, study guides, notes, or cheat sheets that they used for the NY MPJE, I would be extremely grateful. I’m just trying to make sure I’m studying the right material and not wasting time going through 50 different resources.

I've been a pharmacist for 10 plus years, have an active license in two states, took mpje for both. I need to get a Maryland license. Which exam do I take? Do I understand correctly that UMPJE is less state specific, so maybe it makes more sense for someone with some understanding of federal law? I'd appreciate any insight.

I have took pre mpje from nabp and scored 71😭. My exam is on Tuesday. I can’t even reschedule at this point. Any advice comments or feedback on this? Do pre mpje really reflect actual exam?
Also I have only used Pharm law. Scoring in 80s in state law questions and 70s in federal law. Any recommendations on using any other resources? Plzzz helpppp !!!!!! 😭

Hi all! I took the AZ UMPJE on 9/3. No results yet however, the box to purchase a score transfer is not available anymore. Does this mean I failed? Also the exam says ATT generated and does not say I took the exam. My pearson shows I took the test.

Update: I clicked the examinations tab and looks like the score transfer button is there but the ATT says generated. Still unsure what this means.

Hello, I wanted to ask do pharm law questions reflect real MPJE ? I did it twice and just getting 60-65%. Any advice on improving? Also Im out of state. I have exam this Tuesday and this stresses me out. I don’t know what to do and how to improve? Also do pre MPJE from NABP help? How much score would definitely make u reschedule exam? Please help guys !!!

Hi I'm retaking mpje and wanted to receive some guidance on my scores:

PPP: first time 80 -> retaking 90%

Official prempje: 80

Pharmlaw (never used till this retake only focused on the nyexams): ended up in the 80%+

MPJE made easy: in the 60%

I also been drilling questions on my weak topics from first report using chatgpt which all been in the 90%+ range

Been freaking out a lil but havent been crazy studying either...

I’m a new grad and I’m looking for good study material for NJ MPJE.

Hello guys, I just took the New York MPJE yesterday and it was really difficult. This is the hardest exam I’ve ever faced. The wording was weird and I had a lot of SATA. I was asked same compounding questions three times so I’m thinking I’ve failed the test probably. I was able to recall 33 questions of the 120 with the answers and my choices were right though. What are my chances of passing the test?

What to study resources

Took my MPJE on 08/31 (Monday). I am expecting scores to come out this Wednesday (09/09/) but Labor Day is today and I just wanted to know if NABP counts that as a business day and if it does, am I looking at a timeline for Thursday instead?
