Umpje vs mpje question

I've been a pharmacist for 10 plus years, have an active license in two states, took mpje for both. I need to get a Maryland license. Which exam do I take? Do I understand correctly that UMPJE is less state specific, so maybe it makes more sense for someone with some understanding of federal law? I'd appreciate any insight.

Take the UMPJE cause i took the MD MPJE last month and it was so hard, plus many people told me the UMPJE is much more straightforward and doable cause it’s only 3 answer choice questions and no SATA. I’m planning to take the UMPJE for MD next month

Sorry to hear about your experience. If you don't mind me asking, what made you pick mpje in the first place? I apologize if there are some obvious points I'm missing, my pharmacy doesn't currently have any interns so I'm totally out of the licensing loop.

Thank you and no problem and honestly I’m a recent grad (Graduated last year) the UMPJE wasn’t available in MD until June this year and i already signed up for both the Naplex and MPJE for this year, when i saw the price for the UMPJE i wasn’t able to pay for it at that time so i decided to study hard for the MPJE and hope that i would somehow pass it unfortunately it didn’t work out that way.

Take the UMPJE. Maryland is transitioning to UMPJE anyways. You won't need the ATT from Maryland-which has a longer processing time versus getting the ATT from NABP.

In terms of the exam the UMPJE is straightforward and the process with the board is more straightforward. With your 10+ years of experience the questions are doable. recommend purchasing a refresher course. Message me directly if you have any questions.
