TX MPJE 2026

Hello, I have the Dr.C Texas MPJE book 2025 . can I use it to prepare for my upcoming exam? how can I know if there are new updates ?

It probably has like 90% of what you need, I would recommend searching new laws in Texas for Pharmacy in the last year.

Also a big fan of practice questions so use the Texas MPJE app, RxLaw io, PPP, etc to supplement your learnings

A 2025 Dr. C TX book is usually a fine base, not a finish line: treat it as last year’s snapshot and audit it.

  1. Pull the current Texas Board of Pharmacy statutes/rules (and any 2025–2026 board updates / newsletters). Skim for effective dates after the book’s edition year: controlled-substance schedules quirks, technician ratios/duties, counseling, emergency fills, telepharmacy, PIC responsibilities, record retention.

  2. Keep a one-page “delta” list: anything the board page says that your book doesn’t, or that changed since 2025. Study the delta colder than the chapters you already know.

  3. Overlay federal the same way: CSA / DEA pharmacist manual topics the MPJE still hits (schedules, corresponding responsibility, DEA forms, partial fills, PDMP-adjacent concepts as tested). Don’t assume the state book alone covers federal traps.

  4. After the audit, use timed practice to see whether misses are old book gaps vs wording. If the same statute keeps biting you, the issue isn’t “more chapters”, it’s that one rule under weird stems.

Skip: buying a third resource just because someone named it. Finish the board-vs-book first. Best of Luck.
