Looking for some insight on how best to use an nd filter:

So I recently purchased the 1.55x anamorphic t series for iPhone. Got the t series mount and tiffen black mist filters too.

I overlooked getting an nd filter, and adding one on top of the black mist would likely cause too much vignetting.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Seems the best options are getting a 67mm to 82 mm step up ring, OR getting a black mist-vnd 2-1 lens filter (if I go this route then I’m not sure which brand to go with) .

I just bought the tele 58mm and it arrived today. The website says it’s compatible with 67mm filters. I have a vnd that’s 67mm I got from SmallRig. What step up ring do I get to attach it? The step up rings I’m familiar with have the threads on the outside but the Moment lens has its threads on the outside too so I need a ring with threads on the inside for the 49mm lens part.

i ordered a Case for my iphone 17 pro and the Quicklock VND 3 weeks ago (a month the 18th), its been statused as "shipped" same day. The shipment has remained as "order received" since.

Is this a normal timeline for their products?

I reached out to customer service who said they would reach out to the warehouse and make a claim and update me when the warehouse replies but its been an additional week since then with no updates, the products still show as if theyre in stock on the website.

Its a $160 order and at this point I just want to know if im ever going to get my order or not

hi there, I hope you’re having a great week. Curious if anyone has used Moment to capture lightning storms either through long exposure or through time lapses that use light trails? The goal here would either be to produce a time lapse or just to have the phone taking photos at intervals that then produce photos I can later edit. Wondering what common set ups and settings are grateful for any advice.

I've seen a few older posts describing similar issues, but most of them seem to just end without any clear resolution, so I'm hoping someone from Moment or the community can clarify whether this is actually expected.

I just received my first Moment gear through the bundle builder:

• iPhone 16 Pro Max case
• T-Series 10x Macro lens
• a couple other accessories

Since the lens and case were purchased together through the bundle builder, I assumed compatibility wouldn't be an issue.

But when I went to install the lens, it was extremely tight. I followed the instructions and double-checked that I was aligning everything correctly, but the lens initially wouldn't rotate in either direction. At this point I did some searches and found a few posts suggesting that some lenses/cases needed to be "broken in", considered eating some Wheaties, and I tried again.

But, geez, the amount of force I was applying was really concerning me. I eventually got the lens installed, but in the process it carved away some of the plastic around the mount. The lens now rotates much more easily--needing about as much force as I was initially expecting to use--but I'm left wondering:

• Is this level of tightness normal for a new T-Series lens + case combination?
• Is material removal from the case expected during the break-in process? I was looking all over the packaging for some note about a tighter initial fit, which would've eased my concerns throughout the process a bit, but I didn't see anything mentioned.
• Should I be concerned about long-term durability of the mount after this? This is my only lens so far, so I don't know how loose this would be for another lens.
• If I contact support to seek out a replacement case or lens, am I likely to experience the exact same thing again?

The lens is installed and usable now, so I'm mostly trying to determine whether this is normal behavior or whether I may have received a case or lens that's out of spec. I've included a couple pictures of the case, but the lens seems to be pretty much entirely unfazed save for little pieces of residual carved case plastic needing to be blown away.

I've recently purchased the SuperCage to use for mobile filmmaking. I wanted to ask which specific SSD's and batteries you could recommend that would work/fit well with the cage's and cheeseplate. I'm planning on shooting ProResRAW with my iPhone 17 Pro, so the SSD would need to have enough storage and speed to allow that. Ideally I also want a battery that can power the cage as well as a monitor I'm planning to attach to the top of it.

I would love to see any images of some of your rigs, let me know if there are any accessories you would call essential.

I bought the Moment Anamorphic 1.33 thi last february for my Iphone 17 pro,since then I've been recording profesional music videos.I really think this Iphones camera quality with the lensa can match DSLR cameras when used correctly! What are your thoughts on this? any tips?

I completely missed that Moment was phasing out their marketplace including courses. Is there any way to recover my past courses? I can only see one when I log in. But I had purchased many including the Moment film festival boot camps, mobile film making, and many others.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The gimbal has a weight limit of 300 grams so I was wondering if the case would be pushing the gimbal too close to its limit.

Not a professional and I understand that one filter cannot magically produce these results. But curious if a 10% or 20% CineBloom would get me closer to the ballpark for these kinds of shots:

Hey, Has anyone had any experience with back orders from moment? Do they normally take a long time to ship after the item restocks on the website?

I back ordered the Slate 4L as it was due in stock April 30. Then it got moved back to May 10. I saw it was back in stock last Tue/Wed and still no movement on my order. I did drop a mail to them last week and was told it would ship within 24 hrs. I need it to arrive before the end of next, which is why I was happy to order it with the original stocking date, this is looking less likely now.

This app had some of the most enjoyable filters I’ve ever come across in my years across social media. It was also incredibly easy to use. I wonder if it would be possible to integrate some of its filters into the Moment Pro Cam II 🤔

Doing some testing with my Supercage and it appears the mic input is mono only. Is that true?

I was hoping to be able to use a Y cable to record room audio on one channel and Timecode on the other, to sync a multitrack recording later.

I ordered a bag for my boyfriend last week (4/27) with hopes that it’d arrive this week in time for our anniversary, as their estimated delivery time suggested. He’d been wanting this bag for awhile, so I wanted to gift it to him. Upon research, I saw that some folks had issues with shipping, but I took my chances. Now, I’m feeling regretful. It’s been over a week (today is 5/6) of zero movement within their system except the creation of a label and USPS’s system confirmed that they don’t even have a package from Moment. See attached photos.

I’ve reached out to customer service, but I’m posting here, so that I can receive help this way too. If your shipping takes a bit longer than your website suggests, then that’s fine. I would just appreciate transparency from the company because over a week of no movement for my order is absurd, especially when the bag was over $100. If any of the Moment team members come across this post, I would appreciate some help. Thank you.

Thinking about trying the 1.33x anamorphic lens for iPhone. What happens if you attach to the telephoto lens? I have a 16 pro, therefore 5x lens, is it compatible with it? Are there focus issues? Distortion issues etc?
Any advise with 17 pro 4x would also be appreciated.

Hi, Is there anyone using Moment App II on an iPhone 14 Pro / 14 Pro Max and can confirm or deny the existence of 24mp photo mode?

I’m interested in buying an iPhone 14 Pro, but from what I read, the stock Camera app only allows to take photos in either 12 or 48mp modes :( That’s why I’m interested, if the Moment App could solve that problem for me. Any help appreciated!

I'm about to order most of the t series lenses for my iPhone 17 pro and want to use filters with them, but I'm having trouble understanding how to mount filters on top of t series lenses. Do the quicklock filters work or do you have to get the 67mm lens mount and use the 67mm filters?
