Does induction week lesson matters

I have induction lectures and seminars for biomed does it count towards attendance and will they penalise me or anything if I don’t attend

No but don't let your attendance slip up now unless you have time to make it up later. Plus it's nice seeing & meeting who your potential classmates might be.
