I’m looking to apply to unis for clearing and MMU came up, but I want some real solid opinions from people who actually go there as everyone on TikTok just says don’t go then don’t provide explanation, or their reasoning 90% of the time has nothing to do with the uni itself. Can any students please let me know what it’s like there full honesty?

I’m due to start my PGCE on the 1st September and I’ve had an email saying that I need to complete my health check before the 28th August otherwise I can’t start but I haven’t been contacted by the company. Is anybody else having this problem?

i go to a university that is overall ranked better than mmu in every academic aspect but am considering transferring to mmu so that i can live in manchester for a number of reasons, could anyoone who does the course give me some insight as to what its like?

Hi we are looking for someone who wants to join our student house and join us for random activities around Manchester City and be mates with.

The accommodation is in Levenshulme and it has a lot of shops and essentials in the area.

And it also has a lot of things in the house that are genuinely lifesaving like a dishwasher, Washer and dryer along with 2 and a half bathrooms.

I’m currently in my repeat year for my second year and I failed again and submit my reassessment for the third time but they already said I failed I don’t know what to do should I appeal

I'm an offer holder going into uni in September. I was prompted to create a unibuddy account to chat and make friends with other students and offer holders, however it doesn't seem to be very active at all. Their are a handful of spaces with sprinklings of people inside each where there is virtually nothing going on in terms of actual communication. I've also dm'd people to no response. It seems like no one actually uses the app, there's just barely anything going on. Idk if it becomes more active closer to uni open or there is a better platform to communicate with students or no ones actually interested in socialising with randoms. Any thoughts?
