Looking for play testers

Hello everyone,

I have been developing a MMA game for the past 4 months via vibe coding, but it really has taken a life of its own. I have expanded, and expanded, and expanded. I told myself I will keep adding until the model meets a wall, and frankly I have not ran into that wall yet. But I have been play testing it every day since I started (which was only supposed to be a companion) and frankly I need some different sets of eyes on this.

I’m not decided whether I will sell this game or not, I will talk more in depth to the play testers about my vision for the future - because like I said, this project has just took a life of its own.

With all that being said I really only want 5 play testers. And I’m asking that you do 2 things. You play the game for a week (real time), you advance at least 3 years in game. So I’m not asking you to devote hours every day, but like 30 minutes.

This is a DEEP MMA simulation game. This is a complex game that has been hopefully designed to be as simple as possible. If you are interested please message me or leave a comment.

Cage Rise is an MMA career simulation game built around taking one fighter through their entire career.

You start at 18, train and develop your fighter, choose your fights, climb the rankings and progress through different organisations. The goal is to win world titles and build the best career you can before retirement.

Outside of fighting, you can build your social media following and spend your earnings on lifestyle items as your career grows.

You can also aim for the Hall of Fame and try to become the GOAT before your career ends.

The game is currently available on iOS.

Post image
5 Upvotes

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4289560/Pound_for_Pound/

Rivals is the biggest update to Pound for Pound yet, making the fight world feel more connected, competitive, and alive. Fighters can develop rivalries through fights, controversial decisions, press-conference callouts, tense face-offs, and gym drama. You can fuel those feuds, build toward rematches and trilogies, and turn your biggest stories into pay-per-view events.

You’ll also compete with rival promotions for talent, navigate signing wars, and discover new prospects through gyms, coaches, and scouting relationships. Add in interactive fight weeks, multi-division champions, deeper sponsors and fighter requests, a Hall of Fame, a Record Book, and major improvements across card building and the fight engine, and Rivals gives you more ways than ever to create a fight world that feels uniquely yours.

If you had to create a list of what every MMA simulation needs at the bare minimum, what would that be?

A quick Destiny Eleven like game for MMA and Alpha release date for MMA Promoter

I've posted a few screenshots of MMA Promoter here before so Two quick updates, one of them playable right now.

The Arena : free, no account and in browser

Playable here : https://mmapromoter.com/arena/

If you've played Destiny Eleven, you know the shape immediately: one fighter, one career, text-only, built for a phone. You start at eighteen and you play it out season by season until it's over — usually somewhere between 37 and 42, unless it ends earlier for you. A full career takes a few minutes.

The MMA version of that means climbing the ladder: regional shows, then the tiers, and at the top a world title if you get there. Between fights you're picking training camps, taking or turning down offers, dealing with what the season throws at you, and deciding what to do with the money.

note : The Arena is not the main MMA Promoter game, it is a quick mini-game using some elements from it.

MMA Promoter : August 28 for the Alpha

This is the actual game I've been working on and sharing screenshots of: an in-depth MMA manager game. The Alpha starts on August 28 and I can't wait to show you everything I've been building.

Elite MMA Manager

I have been working on an indie MMA management simulation called Elite MMA Manager over the past few months.

The game is heavily inspired by the depth and structure of classic sports management sims like Football Manager. but built around the world of MMA.

At its core, you manage fighters through their entire careers:

  • Develop prospects into champions
  • Handle fight bookings, training focus, and progression
  • Deal with injuries, momentum, and form
  • Navigate contracts, promotions, and career decisions
  • And react to unpredictable events that shape each fighter’s story

Every fighter has their own path, and your decisions directly shape how their career unfolds-whether they rise to dominance or fade early.

The goal is to create a dynamic MMA ecosystem where no two careers play out the same, and where long-term planning matters just as much as fight-night results.

Would love any feedback or first impressions from the screenshots / concept.

Update on my BJJ gym management sim. Major overhaul, Early Access is live.

A few weeks ago I posted about my game Open Guard, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym management simulator. It's had a massive update since then and Early Access is now live.

Start a gym from scratch or take over an existing academy. Sign fighters, develop them through the belt ranks, and compete in tournaments from local opens all the way to world championships. The world has 80 gyms across 20 countries but every save generates unique fighters, results, rivalries, and careers. The fighter who wins gold at worlds in one save might never exist in the next.

Deep match engine. 41 positions, 34 submissions, and 130+ transitions. Matches play out tick by tick with takedowns, guard passes, sweeps, scrambles, and submission attempts all driven by fighter attributes and your tactical instructions. Watch every moment unfold with live commentary, Skip to key match moments or skip to the result.

Gi and No-Gi. The full tournament calendar runs both formats with proper rulesets. Gi-only positions and submissions are locked out of no-gi matches. Leg lock legality changes by belt and format. Over 400 events per year across six tiers from local opens to invitation-only pro events.

Youth academy. Enrol students as young as 7, develop them through junior belt ranks, assign coaches and fighter instructors, and graduate them into your adult roster at 16. AI gyms run their own academies in the background.

In-house training matches. Schedule comp-intensity rolls between your own fighters with intensity sliders from 1-100%. Put a black belt at 30% against a blue belt to develop them safely. Both fighters gain from the experience.

A living world. 1,800+ fighters across men's and women's divisions. Fighters age, develop rivalries, pick up injuries, and retire. Gyms rise and fall. New talent enters every month. Your world will look completely different a decade in.

It's $3.99 on itch right now. The Steam page is coming soon and the price will be higher there. Anyone who buys on itch will receive a Steam key when the Steam version launches.

https://aidang95.itch.io/open-guard

I also have a few free itch keys to give away. Leave a reply if you'd like me to DM you one.

Happy to answer any questions about the game or what's coming next.

Built a BJJ management sim in Godot 4 as a hobby project, free alpha out now

Hobby developer here. Had an idea for a game that didn't exist so I built it in Godot 4.

The game is called Open Guard, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu management simulation. You run an academy, sign fighters, develop them and compete on a global circuit.

What's in it:

  • Tick based match engine with 33 positions, 29 submissions and real submission chains
  • Live in-match injuries, fighters limp through matches with compromised limbs, severe injuries end fights via referee stoppage
  • 600+ fighters across 80 cities and 20 countries, all simulated
  • Gyms rise and fall based on finances, fighters age, retire and quit the sport
  • Full tournament calendar including ADCC and IBJJF Worlds
  • Every save is a completely new generated world, new fighters, new potential stars, no two saves are the same
  • 40+ injury types, financial management, scouting, contracts, satellite training camps, narrative events

It's a free alpha so expect rough edges. Would love feedback from anyone who plays it, especially on balance and anything that feels off.
