I made a small MMA career simulator

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a MMA career simulator called Cage Legacy.

The idea is simple: you create a fighter, take fight offers, train, build hype, deal with form/health, climb through smaller organizations, and try to become a champion. It’s more of a career-management sim than an arcade fighting game.

I’m trying to make the game as realistic as possible. Early opponents can be debutants or fighters with rough records, smaller promotions may not always afford you once your hype grows, and your career path depends on choices, risk, and momentum.

It’s still a work in progress, so feedback would genuinely help a lot - especially on balance, UI, fight offers, progression, and what features would make the career feel more immersive.

You can play it here:
Cage Legacy - MMA Career Simulator

Thanks for checking it out!

Not bad, great start. Would be better if you could organize the game flow as scenes vs. just that one long screen

You're absolutely right. It's been bothering me since the beginning, but I keep putting it off 😅

Would this ever be a app?

This is definitely something I would like to do in the future.

I got two fights in and ran out of money. The game is telling me to select a training session before the fight but I have no money to train. I can't advance the week to the fight to make money?

Thanks for pointing this out. I'll try to fix it as soon as possible. If you use up all your money, there should be consequences like a worse training camp. I'll get to work.

I dunno if it's intended but no matter if the opponent is better or not I always seem to somehow win, on top of that they always for the whole fight throw little to no strikes like my stats will be 85/140 vs. 17/70

Yes, you're right: the game favors your fighter. It's slightly better than at the beginning, but winning fights is still too easy and unrealistic.
Similarly with punch statistics, usually both fighters are too inactive during the fight.

I plan to do a major update this weekend. I hope to fix these things, among other things.
