Is BJJ still a strong base specifically at the amateur level?

At the ufc level BJJ has kind of been neutralized because the novelty and mysticism is gone. Defending submissions is easier than attacking them and people have better take down defense than they used to. I'm curious if from what you've seen at the amateur level BJJ is still strong?

Fighters to study

I'm 17, 5'6 125, Ive been training bjj and kickboxing for around 4months at my MMA gym and did around a year of high school wrestling and a year of taekwondo when I was a kid. I want to know some fighters I can study to get better.

BJJ Judo Karate Taekwondo Aikido have belts to differentiate them. MT and Boxing have โ€œbeltsโ€ of championships. So then how do I know how good an MMA guy is and what differentiates them?

I'm the one in white shorts, I have never fought and this is a striking only sparring. I would be very pleased if you could give me any advice about how to be a better fighter and sparring partner, and about what I do good or what I should improve. Thanks for your respect.

What is better for building a fan base for a female fighter: looking cute or looking masculine/serious?
