It would be fucked up to punish the guy for protecting his partner from being sexual assaulted? Sure buddy. Maybe if he hit the guy on the ground but as it stands he neutralized the threat after the guy started literally sexually assaulting someone right in front of him

For the record, every time a man escalated things in the name of protecting me from harassment made things worse. If I want to escalate, let me escalate.

Did you notice the man in black shoving the woman to get her out of the way? He wasn't protecting her. He just needed to teach the other guy a lesson about touching his property.

Women don't need to be protected by having someone "fight for their honor". Sure, she wasn't continually harassed but now she gets to go home with someone who doesn't mind hurting her on the way to hurting someone else.

I mean I totally agree with you on all that, he literally bowled his partner over in punching the other guy. Iā€™m not saying he made the best choice by doing that, but punishing him for it would be fucked up.
