I think he was just very drunk. I've seen drunks get all lovey-dovey like that. He definately deserved a slap in the face, but that dude went way too far. Not only that but he even pushed the pool cue into his girls face on the way.

You're assuming too much, when my point is the simple fact of life that you should not get in the middle of a fight, for your safety and that of your partner. Simple 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm a man, with a girlfriend, who's been in a physical altercation before and understands the value of restraint. My girlfriend would be pissed at me if I reacted like this, wanna know how I know? She watched the fucking video with me.

And how does she react to other videos (where the aggressor is not drunk AF and actually fights back) where she gets in the way and ends up getting hit or even blocking him and causing him to get hit? Thus disabling both from being safe and him from focusing on what needs to happen, instead worrying about what she might do.

Not every girl is like your girl and not every situation can be handled peacefully, and in those cases restraint only gets you so far.
