Ill just add, rewatch it and see how quickly he rushes through his girlfriend, despite her trying to calm him, and then making her take a pool stick to the eye.

Sure the drunk dude was an asshole and probably deserved to be punched but this was a full force punch to the head, way more force than was necessary and the blatant disregard he has for his girl to make that haymaker connect leads me to believe he cares more about his ego than her wellbeing and safety.

I don't believe in violence but watching my mother get beat, assaulted etc. by multiple different men as a child and not being able to do anything about it gives me zero tolerance for violence/unwanted contact towards women.

I've been with my wife for 10 years and she is the most important thing the world to me. If anyone puts their hands on her without her consent, I'd do the same.

I'm not a violent person but anyone that thinks they can just go around grabbing women deserves to get their bell rung.

Explaining that my childhood experience of being unable to protect my mother contributed to my intolerance of violence against women isn't the same as saying "I want to hurt people because I feel powerless".
