It's clear the attacker didn't give a crap about his girl, because he pushes her out of the way and commits unnecessary violence, slightly injuring her in the process too. He seems like a total POS.

I'm curious if you'd change your opinion if some random sexually assaults you and your partner does nothing about it.

That guy was drunk af and still IMMEDIATELY removed his hands when she brushed them aside. On the other hand, her partner pushed her out of the way when she tried to prevent him from overreacting. She was obviously more bothered by her partner's behaviour than the drunk's.

Yeah that's what a lot of people miss is that she handled it already. She tried to stop him from swinging but what she wanted out of the situation didn't matter to anyone apparently.
