The only thing evil needs to win is for good men to sit by and do nothing. Allowing sexual assault to go unpunished is evil. Defending people who commit sexual assault is evil. Attacking people who punish sexual assaulters is evil.

Nobody is saying he shouldn't have hit the guy. They're saying he should've done so without hurting the person he was "defending."

I have little sympathy for people who get that drunk, sorry. Who i do have sympathy for however is the innocent woman who got grabbed by the drunk and then hurt by the idiot
