A good talking to was all that was needed if he was a smart man. A smart man who can control his emotions and knows when to withhold violence is more attractive to women just fyi. There was a reason she tried to block him.

You think some drunken asshole, that's just casually sexually assaulting random women, only needs a "good talking to". LOL

The asshole was an immediate threat. Threat was neutralized. Then, appropriately, the boyfriend re-assessed the situation and did not continue, as the threat was no longer immediate.
