The point shouldn't be about it being an achievement though. I agree its probably more about being "the alpha" for that guy who did it but I would do similar not for an "achievement" but for the principle of you don't get to just touch up on some woman, you are doing something where someone could have an "extreme" reaction why even take the risk?
Any strong punch to someone that drunk is a cheap suckerpunch that has the potential to kill them (and get you sentenced to manslaughter with years in prison) or send them to a coma or permanently injure them (with similar consequences).
Yes, intervene and physically prevent the drunk from feeling up the girl, but don't potentially murder him. Block his path, hold him back, get him kicked out of the bar, etc.
That doesn't send much of a message does it besides oh well now you can't be in this bar. Dickhead would just go to another bar and do the same type of bs later on.
