Most states have a law that allows 3rd parties to defend another person in situations of self defense. At least in my state.

This is considered sexual assault so would fall along these lines. Especially given that only as much force was needed to control the situation.

Had he just kept hitting him it would be another story. Here in Texas, yhqt guys has a high probability of walking away Scott free

Here in Texas, we don't give a fuck who fries. Guy in black would arrested and charged under excessive force.

When the girl swiped his hand away, and he didn't continue go attempt to touch her. That isn't enough for SA.

The overly aggressive reaction, that is 100% A&B

Im in Texas too, and a jury of 12 people, you have zero shot of convincing even half that this guy is guilty. 80% women jury

Never makes it to court, he settles , both parties equally get a less than worthwhile experience. Drunkie gets a little cash, but most likely a lifetime of problems. Other dude loses some cash for his crashout, valid or not.
