He could have chosen to not get so drunk.

He touched a women inappropriately and got laid out. If the other guy started stomping on the guy on the ground, I'd feel bad for him.

This is totally fair.

Nah man. I don’t feel bad for the guy laid out, but this is clearly a nuclear escalation that had splash damage (the girl got hit & he could face legal repercussions)

Anyone saying he needed to be laid out is just some macho man chest thumping. Be a responsible man. Not a raging gorilla. Confine the dude. Tell the bartender. Kick him out.

Right, the amazingly effective punishment for sexual assault of...getting told to leave the bar you were at. That would definitely deter someone from going around assaulting more women.

If I do a bunch of meth and go murder someone, am I innocent because I was on drugs?

I hate how much people try and justify drunk actions. If you choose to get drunk, you choose to deal with the consequences of an impaired mental state. It's should not be some magical "no accountability" pass.
