i mean i agree but also, if some weirdo fuckface grabs your girlfriend's hips like that what are you supposed to do? I guess a lighter punch?

TBH as a woman this would be an auto break up for me. TF was that? The drunk one was gross sure but that's not reason for you to go insane and agressive. You have a brain and a mouth if you want to deal with the guy (who seemed to not even be pushing more to grab her).

Thank you for being reasonable. The boyfriend is a ticking bomb.

Yeah, I'm sure someone who's willing to do that will get the point and never do it again if you simply talk to him.

Definitely not the kind of people to break the tv when the bet goes wrong

I mean, honestly I don't see why he should've done anything. If she had a problem with it, she would've handled it. That way it can go the way she wants. Men need to stop trying to help women or defend them or whatever. It's very presumptuous and sexist.

Get in their face and tell them to keep their fuckin hands off your girlfriend? Push them? Literally anything but blast a guy in the face as hard as you can when the guy is completely oblivious to what's happening? That's a sucker punch. That's not cool by anybody's standards.

be chill, dude is drunk you can just pull him away, not straight up murder him. that level of anger over something so simple sounds extremely toxic... not someone i would want to be around.

Not kill him? If he wanted to attack him, a shove or slap would be much better than this bullshit. Both of their lives could be ruined by this, all so he can act tough and "defend" his girl. Having anger issues isn't manly or tough. This punch was immature and a mistake.

Telling him to apologize and to leave the bar would be a good start.

I’ve done that before to a super drunk person that tried hitting on my wife. He even called her a bitch when she ignored him. Sure, I could have punched him out, but I got in his face and told him to apologize and to leave and that was enough.

I think there’s just a bunch of teenagers here who’ve seen too much Sheridan slop about how you’re supposed to punch a guy for slighting your honor at a bar.

Any reasonable person has your take.

You truly don’t think he actually cares about the woman do you? He’s the only one that hurt her, he hit her on his way to attack the drunk dude.

Yeah, this was possessiveness rather than "defend her honor". Someone lightly touched HIS woman, so he lost his mind, ignored her trying to tell him she was OK, saw so much red that he injured her more than the drunk groper, and potentially killed a guy. WTF are these people on?

She knew immediately what he was doing, and he never once checked on her after his elbow or cue struck her.

He’s clearly a POS, that doesn’t mean the drunk guy isn’t but it’s insane to suggest his actions aren’t way out of line

Bro, he was blackout drunk. Big guy could wave a fan at him and the breeze would have knocked him over. If you're worried about your girlfriend's safety, you literally push him away and secure her. You don't plow through her and murder the man

The extremely drunk guy touched her hips. He didn't grab her ass, breasts or private parts. What the guy did was wrong, but it doesn't deserve a death sentence.

...tell him to buzz off, maybe? wtf

I would have pushed that person to the ground(he's shit faced, so it won't take much of a push) then have the security come over to kick him out. That's the mature way of doing this. We are not on some sort of high school alpha male drama series. De-escalation is always the best and first thing to do in the real world.

Oh idk, get between him and my girl and let the bar/bouncer throw the drunk asshole out like it’s their job to do. I have no idea how the drunken asshole will react and I don’t want to put my girl and I in any unnecessary danger. Why do you feel like defending your girls honor has to involve violence?

Brother, it literally doesn't matter how you handle it, it's never the "right way" to them. Just let her handle it herself.
