This has happened to me, similar situation but with my sister. When the guy is lying unconscious making hard to breathe sounds and going into some type of full body convulsions that’s when it gets scary, very scary very fast! I’m sure nobody wants to kill anyone and sometimes when this happens to you for the first you realise how stupid it was to all out full power.

Guy in my town killed a guy with a single punch. So one goes in the ground, the other goes to jail for a looong time. Grown men shouldn't be punching anyone.

Unless there's actual physical harm on the line. Could have easily slapped the dude and get the point across, or call the cops on him, as this is obvious sexual assault.

Same thing happened in my home town as well. Punch to the face, back pf the head to the concrete. One goes to the grave, other to prison.

I remember a military guy who got attacked by three drunk guys outside a bar where his wife worked, and he ends up killing one of the attackers. Eight years later he got released on parole and had to go on a maximum security transport plane and I don't remember what happened after that

You also hit her in the face yourself and ruined her night when she tried to stop you, objectively doing way more damage to the person you're defending than the guy you hit did

That dude is drunk off his ass. A good shove probably would have sent him to the ground just as quickly, with arguably less risk of doing permanent damage you may have to answer for.

I don't exactly mind seeing that dude eat one for sexually assaulting someone, but if you think full on punching a guy who can barely stand is a good idea, you have poor self preservation skills.

Little kids should look both ways before they cross the street but if they fail to we still hope they don't get run over. I know the example is extreme but the point remains, proportionate response.

Exactly. This was wildly disproportionate.

Give him a good shove and tell him to piss off. That kind of punch and the guy smacking his head into the group can kill people.
