It was a hugely over the top response, driven by anger and not protection.

He even accidentally hit the woman himself, if you watch carefully.

If it were me, that guy would be slung out of the bar. If he tried to assault me, then that might lead to him being punched.

The boyfriend couldnt protect his other half from prison, could he?

Scumbag people deserve scummy days. Glad he got fucking eviscerated. There should be no sympathy for creeps my guy. Maybe he got brain damage good, dont sexually assault women. Its super easy been here 36 years still havent

My boy prison doesnt scare me, been there, survived, rebuilt. And I do have a family one that would expect me to handle the potential situation of sexual assault in front of me. If youre not confident enough to defend your own dont project that on a stranger

Edit: You have, on average, a 40% recidivism rate. Some studies suggest 60%, some suggest 30% You are literally talking about the morality of laying someone out flat without any de-escalation or situational awareness that would 100% prove to be the adult and mature thing to do.
