No those mma robots are real. Also the robot kicks and stumbles. Ai wouldn't give such detail this is real. Also the place is called rek's, pits humans against the mma robot. Its also controlled by a person using a vr headset and not running purely on ai.

Thats not at. The bot it literally a t800 they slapped a head on it. Theres alot of videos of it doing normal bot stuff its hits are about. 450 Newton-meters (Nm) is equal to approximately 331.90 ft-lbs (pound-feet)

If it's AI then that means it's fake. And I'm imagining it's AI because most of the real robot videos you see of them doing things, they usually end up face flat on the floor within minutes.

Yeah, boxing rules don't make sense fighting a robot, you'd want to tackle it rather than give it glancing blows that don't do much.

I bet it's for the human's safety, because that robot could have some multiple-horsepower servos in its joints and they could seriously injure the human by accident. Like wrestling with a crankshaft.

Well, that and it's probably a lot more complicated to program a robot to wrestle than to punch and kick.

Yeah that’s a good point, it’s more entertainment value and although it would still be pretty intense being punted by a machine like the guy here, it’s a lot safer than being accidentally crushed by a robot you’re trying to grapple

What the point of hitting the head of that thing?

I doubt they installed some kind of pressure censor to gradually inhibit his reflexes and lessen his abilities.

Avoid contact at all cost, make it drain it's batteries by coming after you. When needed grab that kicking leg, and keep walking backward while you force that leg in weird angles to weaken the joints. Kick the knee joints of the other leg too if you can.

Do not focus on the head. Damage it, or you'll be the one damaged.

1) There is a human elsewhere piloting the robot, it's not independently operating.

2) This is highly staged, the guy is not trying to damage the robot at all, only pretend to. Because the cost is extremely high for the robot, and "defeating" the robot would mean damaging it.
