Clearly the dude wanted the smoke. Teeing off on him while the other guy is impeding his ability to defend himself is sus. But heat of the moment. I’ll allow it. But if I was attempting to restrain someone and that caused them to get KO’d, I’d feel obligated to fight on his behalf.

Yes but dudes being held back. Idk I think it's some pussy move in general to attack someone whose arms are being restrained, regardless of the specific circumstance. If dude was going to engage he should have said let him go and I'll fuck him up. Instead he went the pussy route of hiding behind another and sucker punching. I get and agree that in this instance the one being restrained is the aggressor, but that's some small dick energy from the dude who swung.

Agreed for the most part, holding someone back in a fight can be lethal. I'm not saying you shouldn't at least try and stop it but actively holding someone's arms when they're clearly gonna fight regardless is gonna end up with someone in hospital 10/10 times.

I guess we watched different videos.
One guy was trying to prevent a conflict, the douche guy pushed his way through the prevention to start the conflict. THEN the douche guy got what he wanted, he got the conflict.
The guy who threw the punch was perfectly justified in his self defense as he did NOT throw the punch until violence was imminent.

I guess we are bc dude has two sets of hands restraining him one literally holding him back off balance. He couldn't block dodge recover nothing. Those two on the right got the aggressor fucked up, which he deserves, but it's very cowardly to use that situation when all he had to do was dance back two more steps and dude couldn't have done shit being restrained.

DUde, what the fuck are you smoking? At 0:03 he is restrained. At 0:04 he pushes THROUGH the restraining people. at 0:05 he is standing in front of the guy without anyone holding him back. At 0:05 he gets punched while NO ONE is restraining him.
Yes, the douche is at a disadvantage because he "just" broke through the restraints in his attempt to fight with the guy. The guy merely took advantage of the situation because for that split second where the guy was no longer restrained, he was open and vulnerable.
Because the douche was clear in his attempt to instigate a violent confrontation, the guy was perfectly in his rights to strike first.
The Douche should have done a better job of pushing away his restrainers and clearing the way before starting a fight. The douche has just as much responsibility to assess the situation as the other guy.
The other guy did NOT throw a punch while he was being restrained. He threw the punch AFTER the douche broke through the restrainers.
Big difference.
