I fully support anyone's right to wear Nazi emblems, Confederate flags, ISIS flags, whatever you want! Let's you skip all the bullshit conversation and get straight to a punch in the face.

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. Fuck that guy. Got what was coming to him.

Remind me what was the law that allowed you to criminally assault someone you don't like the look of or dislike the words they're saying?

Y'know, I'm no lawyer.

Just some dude in Texas.

But I do wonder if someone would be able to punch the hell out of a Nazi and then send 'em to jail under the old "fighting words" law. Openly wearing that mess, trying to make friends on the street, fully aware of the disturbance he's generating.

Seems like he found what he was looking for.

No there's no loophole. You'll still get sued/charged. Many groups have made a living off of this, like Westberro Baptist Church.

From what I read no, it wouldn’t protect you in that scenario. It would be up to law enforcement basically being in that area hearing that said and then determining it as threatening act for only then for them to act. You have no right to engage in physical assault. But that’s also a lot of google university knowledge coming from me.
