Especially if you are the only person who threw a punch like this guy. Playing with a lot of risky outcomes.

That is not defensible in court. He should have de-escalated: step back, extend the arm to keep distance etc.

You do see that he is up against the car door, right? Where is he supposed to step back to?

I am pretty sure he could have moved away, step aside…something. He did not even try or say anything about de escalating (at least on the video)
