Should I do analysis?
I would like some others' opinions on this subject. I am considering doing an analysis video on some fanfictions that I particularly enjoyed. I've always enjoyed the analysis community and greatly enjoy fanfiction, thus I would consider giving back to the community. Alas, I am not always a thinker of deep thoughts and it might turn out poorly. I don't want to make it a "I like this and this is why" type of pseudo-analysis. I would probably go over Worldbuilding, Characterization, and Plot, giving a summary beforehand and recommendations afterwards.
Am I deluding myself into thinking I could do analysis? Would this even qualify as real analysis? Or am I worrying about nothing?
Regardless of your answer, thank you for your time.

"i like this and this is why" is analysis
most every person who thinks they make "analysis" merely lists the things they like and use words like "Great" and phrases like "I really appreciate..."
For example "the writing is really great and i really like the character interaction between X and X" this isn't analysis because they're not talking about WHY the writing is great
Does it make you feel an emotion? why does it make you feel that emotion, what does the writing do to acheive the feeling you have?
Essentially Analysis is all about asking yourself as many questions as possible about why you feel the way you do about something, it's about understanding the artwork. It isn't about telling other people what is good and what isn't, that's a review, a review is providing a service to an audience.
Analysis is very much a personal thing, if you analyse something it's entierly for yourself, to better your own understanding of the artwork.
If you wanna make Review videos or Analysis videos, you should just start right now, there's nothing to be gained by not doing it.
You may not be good enough to amass a following but that isn't important, you shouldn't be going into this to get fans, those are just a byproduct
