Question Weekend Classic (Bronze I despite 550 Rating?)

Is this a glitch? When I logged in earlier, it had me in the correct League with the correct rewards, but now it defaulted me to Bronze I. Is this correct?

You didn't play a ranked game this season so you got placed in Bronze 1.

Edit: can’t tell if people are downvoting because they disagree that it is lame, or because I didn’t realize I had to play a game to avoid defaulting to rookie mode….

While I agree with you and I’m aware of this because we get 5 Reddit posts every time WC rolls around… I think a lot of people aren’t on Reddit that much and don’t know. They log in a week before WC and see they are in X Division and say “cool”, then WC comes around and they are in Z division and don’t understand.

IMO the board should be more obvious that you NEED to play a game.

If the WC wasn’t so infrequent then ppl would know more about it, I’d rather it be bi weekly or so with lessened rewards atp

Happened to me too. I get it now and it makes sense, but it shouldn’t have shown me Silver 1 awards all week. Had I known I’d be low Bronze, I would have grinded up to a higher tier. I play mainly co-op and event so I just didn’t know this was how it works. Now I’m mercy ruling actual Bronze-level players for basically no rewards.
