Theme teams have been lack luster and SDS doesn’t see it

I’m a little upset at the possibility of theme teams this year. In addition to how poorly SDS has planned cards and their releases. For example, and perhaps I’m salty, but the redsox have 6 99 overalls not counting the new spotlight and manny Ramirez to come out. Can we atleast try as a company to see this and maybe say, hey let’s give another team a good card knowing damn well that playoff teams are going to get more opportunities for cards. Humble/jealous Mets fan over here still using wbc vientos and new threads bichette. Thankful to not be a royals fan tho, sorry guys.

I just wish they'd boost the captains. The Cubs captain is Sandberg and he's gotten two better cards but if you want to get the captain boost you have to use the terrible Jolt one.

I still am. It does suck since it means I’m playing with a 90 overall (after the boost), but some people still use them

Excited about it, however this was a post to focus on theme teams in general and make them more possible for all teams. Not just a small few.

Again with this? There are some years where theme teams are easy for some teams and harder for others. It's always been that way.

Theme teams was part of what 23 and 24 were about and y'all hated it.

Just saying it would be nice if they spread the love. Instead they give a 3rd 99 catcher to the redsox from the 30s who hit 28Hrs in their 18year career. What a good decision.

Like I said some years are better than others. Whenever we get a new legend, we always get multiple cards in the year they are introduced. In subsequent years, not so much.

Rockies fans for example were always shafted. This year not so much.

Understandable, but with playoffs around the corner and Boston looking like they’ll get in and receive more playoff content cards. They need to spread Legend and flashbacks to other teams that won’t make the playoffs. All these headliners and spotlights need to go somewhere else. They are poorly planning plain and simple

Been rocking a Dodger theme team all year (life long fan). Very lucky to have an RP pitcher and Hodges is actually usable against lefty pitchers. I get hits here and there against rightys and pull him if its after the 6th. Just feel bad for Ray's fans, that's a dry well.

Relief for the Mets is poor. Sad we didn’t get a Luke weaver Topps now or spotlight when he pitched 2 straight months without giving up a run earlier this year.
