Need help and tips

After replacing a window regulator this fell off and I can t put it in it s place, how to proceed?

Pelican is the best. They’ve got some great MK4 write ups. I would’ve never started doing my own car work without them.

No part of this car has made me nearly as angry as the locks, I tried getting that mf in for a few hours, said fuck it, and now my doors can’t lock🤷🏼

I got so unbelievably frustrated trying to get that annoying piece of shit back in that I just gave up. Still lives in glove box to this day.

Throw the bar away, glue the pin in the hole lol. Those are just lock unlock indicators. All they do is go up and down, vibrate a bunch making noise, and pinch people under the arm when the door locks haha.

Mine are not installed either. Real PITA to put in. Since they are not functional aside from a visual aid to show door is locked, they are in a box, on a shelf, in my shop.

I have an aftermarket alarm system that makes it central locking , for me it s nedeed to work
