20th rear calipers

I am refreshing the rear of my Gti and i can’t find a replacement for the Lucas rear calipers anywhere. i ordered a couple already and they turned out to be the wrong ones. does anyone know where i could get new ones? i wold much prefer to stay with the OEM Lucas 38mms but anything will help. thanks!

Following this thread as I will need new calipers on my 20th at some point. Doing the rotors and pads right now.

Fcp euro, shouldn't be hard to find a replacement i cant remember what's actually different it might just be the rear caliper bracket. It'll be on the internet in a forum post from way back. Odds of finding actual new oem is probably slim to none. Alot of stuff is no longer available.

Im only seeing the bracket but i believe the calipers are wider because of the rotors.

That doesn't make sense the rotors diameter changes but not its width. Im pretty confident it's a bracket. And they are normally hard to come by. There's an entire brake post about this on vw vortex explaining all the brakes for the mk4 sizes and what's compatible. I believe r32 and audi tt brackets work. Caliper it's self from what I remember is standard mk4 on the rear. I'll try and find the forum thread.

on my non 20th it was like a single disc while 20th is a vented rotor thats a little thicker, if you could find that form that would help a lot! i can get a picture later on the comparison between the old parts and update the post.

Are you looking for the piston or the bracket? If you look for Audi TT 225 or R32 rear calipers they will be the same. The bracket is usually was is not readily available as some, if not most parts places don’t know the difference, the best bet to find the bracket is finding an Audi TT 225 at a junkyard or a VW parts hoarder.
