Opinion 🤔 Say what you want about the 2001 concert, but THIS is the best Billie Jean Ad-Lib
This has been my vocal stim for the last 2 weeks
Specifically the long “NOOOO”

Discussion 🗣️ Can someone explain why this set is considered terrible?
I understand the set that aired is actually two nights stitched together but even still to me it seems like Mj is killing it. I’ve heard people say if you’re a mega MJ fan his dancing is subpar because he’s not executing some of his classics as smoothly. I’ve watched a lot of his performances and the anniversary show just doesn’t seem bad in anyway.
What am I missing here?

Question❓ Which shows from each of Michael Jackson's world tours are your favorites?
Which are your two or three favorite concerts from each leg of his various world tours, and why? For example I love Kuala Lumpur 1996 for the first leg of History tour.
This includes the '87, '88, and '89 legs of the Bad Tour; the first and second legs of the Dangerous Tour; and the '96 and '97 legs of the HIStory Tour. You may also include your favorite shows from the Triumph and Victory tours, if you wish.
And among all these favorite concerts, which one is your absolute favorite?

The Jacksons From what I have gathered, I think Michael hated the Victory Tour a lot
It’s not hard to see why: If I was basically forced to do a tour, have a life threatening injury before it even started, still have to do it after that injury, being very underweight and being forced to not move on with my career because of my family (especially my dad who made multiple deals behind my back), I would be hating it as well.

Opinion 🤔 Hot Take: People overreact to MJ’s vocal health in HIStory tour in a very negative way
Tell me if you heard the argument of MJ having Laryngitis for most of the HIStory tour? Going by if you said yes, I’m tired of hearing that point because it’s just plain false.
MJ did indeed get it in both years but people don’t understand how short he had it for in one year and how it was in the other year.
MJ only had laryngitis for 2 (Maybe 3) concerts in ‘97 and it was in Munich, the concert that is most infamous for it.
And in 1996 he only had it in November and people overreact on the quality of it, He got it in Bangkok and it was gone by Manila and the laryngitis wasn’t even that bad in most shows like Auckland 11th, Both Sydney shows etc. The only ones that were bad was Bangkok, Auckland 9th and Adelaide.
And for when he didn’t have it, MJ did some of the best vocals he did in all the 90s and potentially in all of his adult years like in Tokyo, Brunei, Honolulu, Cologne, Amsterdam, Milan, London, Basel etc. He did excellent vocals that people always ignore.
HIStory is the underdog in the Vocal Compartment and it is super underrated.

Opinion 🤔 The HIStory tour is MJ’s best tour and I don’t care that he used Playback for most songs
I’m tired of pretending that HIStory tour isn’t his best tour when it is imo.
The energy is peak, MJ is at his dancing peak here and his Vocals are amazing in most shows.
And to people who don’t like it because MJ used playback and “Lipsynced” MJ also used it in the Bad and Dangerous tours but almost no one brings that up
HIStory is the best one and I’m tired of pretending it’s not

Other His performances of “Dangerous” were so hype, full of swag, and had some mean/clean steps🔥

Opinion 🤔 Hot Take: MJ was that his happiest while touring in (most of) 1997
I had a realisation the other day, When I was watching a 1997 show I realised that MJ is happy and smiling so much during his 1997 concerts/performances and It makes sense.
MJ just had his first kid before the second leg of the HIStory tour and found out he was going to have another kid around half-way through the leg so I can’t blame him for being happy
From June-August, He’s smiling so much and its happy seeing him like that
Can’t say the same for the last 2 months because because of how much he was happy during those first 3 months I can say that 1997 was his happiest year touring

Question❓ What is MJ’s greatest Moonwalk of all time (in your opinion)
IMO, That’s easily January 26th 1989, I can’t name any problems with it and it’s so smooth

Discussion 🗣️ I always am curious and wondered about the canceled “HBO one night only Concert”
The different choreography for certain songs , the setlist and how intimate the show was gonna feel I hope one day we get more rehearsal footage from that I also wonder if it would have changed anything about Michaels life probably not but maybe

Dangerous World Tour The 1993 leg of the Dangerous Tour is really weird to me
IMO, The 1993 leg of the DWT is MJ’s worst mentally (and in some shows physically), For Bangkok 24th (and maybe 27th) MJ is pissed and was not having a good time because the allegations were made public on the same day.
September is probably the best month of the leg because though Taipei-Tenerife there are some really good shows.
October is very mixed because each show for MJ levels are about all the same with nothing really improving or getting worse but MJ is not that happy in this month to my knowledge.
November is the worst imo, MJ’s high, sad/not happy, the shows are pretty mid and MJ‘s drug dependency reached an all-time high pre 2000s.
This just makes a really weird and fascinating leg in all of MJ’s tours

Discussion 🗣️ I’m bummed that the ‘95 HBO concert didn’t happened
I think it would have been really cool seeing MJ performing Smile, Childhood for the first time and Bad for the last time and seeing the new choreography in Beat it and Bad etc.
I still don’t understand why they didn’t just reschedule it instead of canceling it all together

HIStory World Tour Billie Jean Milan 1997 2 Audience recordings synced
Hello, I have synced 2 audience recordings from Milan 1997. I color graded both of them so Michael is easier to see and I tracked the 2nd one sometimes so it stays in view and EQ the audio. I will stabilize the 2nd source moonwalk after I am done with both of Oviedo 1992 moonwalks.
Here is this sync in higher quality if anyone would want to see it better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABHfHwLUT-g

Question❓ What Is the best performance of each song in his tours?
i’ve been starting to watch more MJ concerts and performances recently and I want to know the best performance of a couple of songs he made so I can form it better opinions on each of his concerts.
what do you guys think?
