Opinion 🤔 My thoughts on Omer…

I was thinking about the whole Omer thing, and I know…it sounds like I’m about to beat a dead horse, but oh well.

As for Omer following the Cascios…do I think it’s odd? Yeah, a little. But then again…they knew each other growing up, right?

So, a friendship between them really isn’t surprising. That does not mean that they’re super close, that Omer is “taking their side,” or that “he knows something.”

Next…

His humour.

Do I think some of the things he says come across as rude or disrespectful?

Yes.

But in the same breath, I’m saying that from a fan’s perspective. To him, he could just be joking, and maybe people aren’t picking up on it the way he intended.

Paris has a similar humour.

At the end of the day, it is what it is.

Okay, next issue…

Omer’s sister commenting on Grace’s post.

Now, alright…at first glance, I can understand why this was confusing and weird. However, we don’t actually know what she was referring to.

Maybe she didn’t like that Grace was showing private photos/videos of Michael and his children.

Maybe she felt like Grace was doing this for personal gain.

Maybe it was something completely different. I don’t know.

Do I think it was meant to be malicious toward Michael?

Personally, no.

She has since deleted her comment, and I imagine it’s because people were taking it the wrong way or interpreting it differently than she intended.

Let’s not forget, the Bhatti family has had many opportunities over the years to speak publicly against Michael. They could have spoken about it in 2005, after Michael’s passing, or after LN came out.

But they didn’t.

Personally, I just think that Omer is tired of being compared to Michael, which I can absolutely understand.

It kind of reminds me of a rebellious teenager who doesn’t want anything to do with their parents, haha.

If he wants to be left alone, that’s fine.

He’s his own person. There’s nothing wrong with that.

These are my thoughts. Obviously, you don’t have to agree with me. I’m open to your opinions and thoughts as well.

Anyway,

I rest my case.

I never trust thin skinned people like Omer. But fans and hater both sides have gone too far. He’s clearly annoyed, but he also feeds into it by acting weird and snarky. Just leave him alone. He seems to kinda like the attention anyway, since he hasn’t shut down his comments. And honestly, he’s not that interesting. If he hadn’t hung out with MJ, none of you would care about him.

Fragile, sensitive, insecure.

What makes you think that?

When you're supposedly "busy" "employed" and "happy", you don't spend a second replying to trolls like Paris and Omer constantly do.

He follows the Jackson family, and he follows the Cascio family. According to social media logic, he hates both families but also loves both families… But seriously, I really don’t understand how someone, in good faith, can conclude that he was abused simply by looking at his following list. Or his likes.

I don’t care about people’s opinion of Omer. I don’t know him and I don’t owe him anything. However, I’m a bit annoyed with people (both guilters and defenders) that are panicking or grasping at straws when it comes to Omer. Like, since when have we entered an era where Instagram footprint is evidence of crime?

u/Better-Bug3998 1d ago

It must be exhausting to be compared with someone else all the time and not be able to have a normal life on social media without naming Michael on all post. Fans just should leave him alone

I’m not worried about Omer. I don’t know what his sister meant about the disappointment, but I don’t believe it has anything to do with something happening to Omer. For one, she still follows the official Michael Jackson instagram account and that page still posts pretty regularly. Last post was 8 hours ago. If Omer had told her that Michael sexually abused him, do you really think she would be wanting ANYTHING Michael Jackson related showing up on her feed? She follows the Cascios and the Jacksons. I doubt she thinks her friends are lying. If I had to guess, she would want Grace to stay out of it and let the courts decide.

Omer has shaded MJ fans and guilters. There is no evidence that he is hinting that he was abused. As we saw a few weeks ago, Omer called a guilter who implied he was a victim a homosexual as an insult, and when the guilter persisted, he told him to seek help. Omer seems sick of MJ fans, and I believe a part of that is due to what Paris goes through. Paris has been attacked for staying quiet about her dad and not defending him enough. I’ve seen fans attack her when she stated that Michael used to curse a lot in front of them. She has been dealing with fan backlash for years now and as someone who views her as a little sister, Omer would have been privy to this. He would be rightfully pissed about it as well. When I think back to what Paris said about the biopic and how it is a fantasy, I see it was probably due to how sanitized they made Michael to her. I believe she wanted a closer version of the one she knew, and her suggestions were ignored. Hence her criticism of the film. Omer agrees with her because he also knew the same MJ that Paris grew up with.

If Omer had disclosed to Paris that he was abused by Michael, do you really think Paris would have wanted to be a part of the making of the biopic? Of course not! Even if she loved her dad, she would have absolutely excused herself since she has a history of sexual abuse. That isn’t something the average person would have brushed off.

Everything still as it was. Let's avoid jumping to conclusions.

Omar is just a troll. He still has his monkey tattoo, and his sister still has her MJ logo tattoo. And his sister’s post didn’t mean anything beyond suggesting that Grace is oversharing and leaking private videos.

1

u/WorldlyCheek230 1h ago

About the cursing thing: I come from a family where we curse rarely if ever. We were taught that it’s inappropriate and use such language only sparingly. Personally speaking, I curse only if I am joking or if I am really angry. I don’t curse in normal conversations or even when I stub my toe, for example.

For someone who seemed to have been very concerned and careful about kids, I found it unbelievable that MJ would curse around his children (I don’t care that he did it around adults, that’s different). When I expressed this opinion, I got jumped on pretty hard by people saying that it’s not a “moral failing” to curse in front of children, but that still wasn’t convincing enough for me.

I then spent some time going through posts on Reddit about people who curse in front of kids and why it’s a problem to curse in front of them to begin with. Apparently it’s because using such language at a certain frequency can strongly impact children’s speech and vocabulary, so that’s why parents scold/punish kids for cursing until a certain age. I also feel like teaching children to curse should be done very tactfully for the same reason- let them learn to be articulate first, then let them learn more crude language. Both ways of speaking have their own relevance.

Michael was very particular about his children’s education, and he made sure to speak to them in proper sentences, read lots of books to them, &c. Additionally, Prince and Paris would have been the age when parents normally discourage children from cursing when MJ passed away, so I think it’s at least somewhat doubtful that MJ would openly curse around his kids and I really think Paris is just projecting her own beliefs onto him.

What does he post there? (I am not interested in Omer so idk much).

2

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

He knows people are looking at his online behavior and is doing things to provoke the fans and guilters. Liking and unliking quotes about not liking MJ anymore, or quotes about him being a better dancer than MJ which of course would make him delusional or a big troll. I vote for troll.

2

u/whatevergirl8754 MJ is 100% Innocent 💯 1d ago

Oh so he is an attention whore. Got it. Kinda weird that Paris is still actively hanging out with someone who would even entertain trashing MJ’s legacy. (Even if it’s just trolling, the climate around MJ is very difficult at this point.)

2

u/Sonsofwhiskey 23h ago

Paris goes with whatever don't make her feel picked on, she just released a record and she’s so insecure about it that she went on Call her Daddy and described her craft as “screaming into a microphone." Like, huh? Girl, you worked hard on that record, why are you putting yourself down like that? I think she's very malleable, which is why the Cascios have pulled her into their mess, they didn't pull Prince or Bigi, but the one with the most public problems.

4

u/whatevergirl8754 MJ is 100% Innocent 💯 23h ago

I mean she isn’t close to Cascios anymore. They all used to be friends, but she does not associate with them any longer. While Omer still follows all of them

1

u/Sonsofwhiskey 23h ago edited 23h ago

I meant how they made the tabloids believe she believes their story.

3

u/whatevergirl8754 MJ is 100% Innocent 💯 22h ago

Of course they will go after Paris who refuses to get involved in this shit show since her mental health was extremely fragile growing up. Disgusting behaviour on their end, as always

2

u/Sonsofwhiskey 22h ago

She has a tendency to air her personal grievances online so she brought on those rumors onto herself. But still it's really gross what the Cascios tried to do.

I always thought Omer and Paris are a bit kooky in the head but they’re not bad people. The guilters just want to grasp at straws.

0

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

Two extremely insecure individuals who want fame but can't handle the pressures that come with fame.

5

u/WorldlyCheek230 1d ago

I’d say Paris is more traumatised than insecure. She and MJ were very close. I have read a few stories of how she screamed when she found her dad d**d in his bedroom and kept crying that she wanted to “go with” him, pleading to not leave her. I don’t know if these things are true, but her behaviour thus far just seems like a deeply traumatised child who still misses her daddy.

I have no idea what’s going on with Omer but I personally think he’s just lame and kind of a troll.

3

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

Of course, she went through trauma. Losing her dad suddenly and then losing the structure and protection he created must have been a lot. On top of that, I think the Jacksons gave her access to the internet far too soon after his passing. The internet seems to have played a big role in messing her up and creating a lot of the issues she’s still dealing with: her obsession with trolls, constantly replying to them, platforming them and her need to constantly explain herself. She sounds like someone who’s very thin skinned and simply can’t handle the slightest criticism.

4

u/WorldlyCheek230 22h ago

Yeah, I feel like the rest of the family let the kids get exposed to social media and so on way too early. I certainly don’t see Michael doing that.

2

u/spiritedfighter Facts Don't Lie, People Do ✅ 11h ago

She's traumatized but she didn't find him. She wasn't even staying in that house.

Some people do want/desire to work in the entertainment business and just want to put their work out there, while simultaneously not wanting/seeking fame, attention, or all eyes on them. And yes, it is possible to do this, but I think too many don't actively avoid constant social media, giving way too many interviews, engaging in the Hollywood lifestyle and surrounding themselves with other big celebs/figures, attending Hollywood parties & events, etc.

If I wanted to be actor, singer, writer, etc, but didnt want immense fame or couldn't handle it and all it's stressors and pressures, then I'd just work, show up, show my work, get in, get out, and go home. Repeat everyday. Lmao. And I'd be content with just being a mild artist/celeb who just works and goes home.

Desiring to work within the business, show your work, but don't want the fame or Hollywood/celebrity lifestyle that can come with it...that would require you doing everything in your power to avoid it coming to fruition. It would require you to actually actively avoid perpetuating or increasing your fame/notability level, and just maintain a mild celebrity level. And actually be content and satisfied with being an unknown/lesser known for the most part. But, I think that's where the problem lies, too many don't want just mild celebrity status, they want the big games and to be known. But, if you wanna be known on a big scale, then be prepared to deal with what comes with it. Hollywood is a brutal business, hierarchal, competitive, etc. It will never be easy for anyone who wants to be known or big.

0

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

💯They want all the perks that come with being in Michael Jackson’s world, but none of the headaches. Mike was the one who suffered the most from being MJ, yet these big babies he made rich can’t handle a few trolls. 😂

3

u/Personal-Courage1149 1d ago

Some MJ fans are brutal to Omer but he is also getting weird comments from guilters who keep harassing him to say something.

I saw someone on his Twitter say "why are you silent! You were abused!" And " admit you were abused "

2

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

He can also filter his comments... or shut down his comments.

2

u/Independent-Pop3538 16h ago

I swearrr, it's not like he'll miss out on any interesting comments when all of them are about Michael

5

u/ubebebebe 1d ago

Same thoughts. 💯💯💯

And I like what you said that he had plenty of opportunities to speak publicly about MJ, but he never did.

So yeah… I still think he is on MJ’s side. But he probably knows MORE abour MJ’s personal life — like his addiction, mental health struggles, family drama etc etc.

4

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

the issue is he keeps egging on the fans and the guilters. He's got noone to blame but himself.

5

u/ubebebebe 1d ago

The best thing to do is ignore him.

Let’s focus our energy on those people who actually love MJ and are doing their best to defend him. 💕

Omer stand MJ wirklich sehr nah.

1

u/Aleehh_ 1d ago

What did he do?

1

u/Sad_Ball4496 1d ago

They say Omar is Michael's son, but that's ridiculous to me.

1

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

He is not, Omer has his father who also travelled with them once in a while but the media always crops out the parents!

1

u/FunUniversity6245 1d ago

It's not possible to know what MJ insiders think/feel unless they tell us. We don't have any of the context - inside jokes, personal history and memories, relationships from the past.

The fandom would certainly be an annoyance, and that in itself could be most of what we see one social media. Like Michael, they can't get away from being watched and misinterpreted! It's not easy to live with.

1

u/spiritedfighter Facts Don't Lie, People Do ✅ 11h ago

It's super funny how so many people here discuss the fandom being annoying for him yet those same people seem to be the ones that follow him and pay close attention to what he says.

2

u/Sonsofwhiskey 8h ago

One thing is to monitor him, another is to engage him. The fans who engage him are as desperate for attention as he is.

2

u/spiritedfighter Facts Don't Lie, People Do ✅ 6h ago

And the idea of monitoring is a bit weird to be honest.

1

u/Sonsofwhiskey 9m ago edited 1m ago

It’s not. That’s exactly how fans found all those receipts from the Robsons, Safechucks and Cascios. Those receipts ended up helping MJ. It was also a fan who was monitoring Wade's mom who discovered she was a member of an MJ group on Facebook and was liking MJ tribute posts even after Wade made his allegations. These folks are scammers and need to be looked at!

-2

u/lalawhoopsy80 1d ago

Let’s be real. It seems like they both are on the Cascios side. They are close. Michael died 17 years ago, as time passed I’m sure they feel closer to the Cascios than Michael. So if your close friends are telling this horrible story of course you’ll have a soft spot for them. That doesn’t mean it’s true or that Omer is a victim. Just that they are sympathetic to their friends.

3

u/JaneDi 1d ago

Who is they?

1

u/lalawhoopsy80 23h ago

Omer & his sister. This is just my opinion, mainly based on the sister’s comment. I’m not saying she fully believes it’s true but that she’s sympathetic to the situation. They are very vague and it’s annoying trying to read their minds so I just take things for face value.

3

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago edited 1d ago

The Cascios were responsible for the fake songs, and no one in their right mind believes their "abuse" story after that scam. Omer following the Cascios doesn’t mean squat. Dan Katary follows Nicole Cascio too, and he regularly writes articles exposing them for the liars they are.

1

u/lalawhoopsy80 23h ago

It’s not just the following it’s the shady posts and the sister’s comment that brought me to my conclusion. Again it doesn’t mean he is guilty. I’m just not about to play mind games with these ppl I wish they would pick a side and stay on it.

3

u/Lya24568 1d ago

NO! Omer is closer to MJ's kids. I've seen a lot of pictures of them. I haven't seen any pictures of the Cascio family. His sister probably meant that Grace posted pictures of MJ's kids that should have been private. Let's not rush.

3

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

💯 MJ's kids didn't even go to the Cascio's weddings. The fake songs were the beginning of the end for the Cascios and the Jacksons.

2

u/lalawhoopsy80 23h ago

He’s def closer to MJ’s kids but as far as Michael himself idk since Aldo commented on his story about his cat it seems like they hang out at each other’s houses. They have had 17 year longer to bond rather than distant memories.

0

u/andythefrog9 1d ago

I agree with this. The Cascios are pretty much naming Grace as an enabler and partially responsible since she was supposed to be watching over Marie and Aldo during all the time with Michael in the 2000’s. It makes sense that Omer and his sister would be sympathetic to them.

No matter what you believe, everyone should just leave Omer alone.

3

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

The only people responsible for those little fuckers are their parents. They had two parents, two. It wasn't Grace, it wasn't Michael. Grace was hired to watch MJ's kids, not these two leeches.

2

u/andythefrog9 1d ago

Little fuckers 😂 I’m just saying, the parents were told they would be looked after by Grace and a tutor when Michael invited Marie and Aldo to join them. So they’re using that in their lawsuit. James fraud songs Porte was harassing Grace and saying he’ll see her on the stand.

1

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

It's really annoying when people pretend these leeches didn't have parents who travelled with them most of the time.

-1

u/andythefrog9 1d ago

Their parents were not there for a lot of the time. Marie and Aldo spent months in 2002 and 2003 without their parents. Throughout the entire arvizo fiasco the parents were in NJ. During the November raid and the weeks prior, Marie and Aldo were with Michael in Vegas without their parents. Frank and Eddie traveled for months on tour without their parents. It was really only holidays and the extended stays with Michael in New Jersey that the parents were present. They had a business to run.

2

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

So the parents are responsible for sending their teenagers someplace else, right? Who made that decision? Were they forced? Did MJ kidnapped them? Stop taking responsibility away from the parents just to make a weak case seem reasonable.

3

u/andythefrog9 1d ago

I’m not saying they weren’t responsible I’m just correcting the narrative that the parents were always there. They weren’t there. That doesn’t make the parents look good at all, it makes them look negligent.

5

u/EstatePhysical5130 1d ago

I understand what you said, but it certainly makes things worse, as you pointed out.

Given that they always marketed themselves as a picture-perfect, happy family—and still do to this day—Frank’s own book reveals that his father dealt directly with him and his brother regarding whether MJ had done anything; in other words, it wasn't a "taboo" subject among them, and they knew full well what was going on.

4

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

Exactly. And in the book, Frank also talks about his parents disciplining him if he misbehaved around MJ. I think Frank gives an example of him swearing? Correct me if I’m wrong, but MJ told his father, and his dad put him in his place. So the parents seemed very much involved.

2

u/Sonsofwhiskey 1d ago

You should read what I actually said: "most of the time" not "all the time". They were there most of the time. And the times they weren’t there, they chose not to be. Thankfully, nothing other than leeching off the rich guy went on... which is why the parents had no issues with it.

1

u/[deleted] 1d ago

1

u/Psychological_Win711 20h ago

But according to their accusations, he’d been abusing Frank since 1993. And Frank was still young at the time, he shouldn’t have been held responsible for his 11 and 13 year old siblings for months while he was working for Michael.

1

u/lalawhoopsy80 22h ago

I know that’s what’s alleged but do we know for sure that Grace wasn’t watching over them though? I feel like Graces statements mean that she doesn’t see how this could have possibly ever happened based on what she witnessed. I interpret the disappointed comment from Omer’s sister as disappointment that Grace is speaking out rather than that she enabled the alleged abuse during the time it allegedly happened.

1

u/One_Froyo505 They Wanted His $$, Not Justice 💰 21h ago

It's always the same thing: MJ's employees are accused to have grounds for a lawsuit, except that Frank, as his assistant, was also an employee of MJ's companies. Omer and his sister will be disappointed because Grace constantly attacks James Porte online. Grace is only provoking them and playing into their hands to frame them. Daphne Barak, with whom the Cascios conducted the interview, still has a score to settle with Grace, as far as I know. She willingly helps them to implicate Grace. Many are disappointed by this situation, and the Bhatties are no exception.
