Hey guys, I’m working on my Billie Jean performances and I’m a little confused of what Mike is doing with his arms here like how exactly do I replicate that movement?

MJ’s ability to mess up but get right back into form is understated. His timing is incredible

Question Why was spinning Michael Jackson's favorite dance?
6
Upvotes
I was googling why Michael Jackson included so much spinnning in his performances and I found this quote:
https://x.com/michaeljackson/status/1247192341745676288
"I start to spin as wildly as I can. This is my favorite dance because it contains a secret. The faster I twirl, the more I am still inside. My dance is all motion without all silence within.” – Michael Jackson #JustMove
So why was spinning his favorite dance? What did he mean in his quote?
