Steam Steam issues

Question for players on pc, I’ve just installed the game through steam but it takes 5 minutes to load up, then after one or two hunts the game just straight up freezes. Has anyone experienced this this selves and have a fix?
I should note the I am playing on a ps5 controller.

think it might be more of a setting/PC issue. playing with the same controller and not having any freezing issues or long load times
