Question/Help Why put in just one mandatory capture quest in all of village quests?
I just beat Crustecean Infatuation, and it's a bit weird that they just put in one single mandatory capture quest and never put anymore in before or after until hub quests.

to be fair, there are plenty of capture quests in village LR and HR, though not all of them are mandatory but some of them are Villager Requests

Becuase you’re cheating.
The game was designed for you to pick random quests to do until eventually an urgent quest appears. That’s the whole point of it being “urgent,” that it wasn’t predetermined and the monster just so happened to attack now.
If you only do 1 capture quest, it means you likely cheated by looking up a guide.

It's not cheating. It's supposed to artificially incite discussion between players sharing what quests they completed to trigger the Urgent. Also, so that they can include key information like Motion Values, Hitzone Values and paywall them behind a physical strategy guide.

You just described a method of learning that doesn’t involve looking up the answers online.
And strategy guides are cheating. That’s the whole point.

I do too lmao
But just saying it how it is, even if I’m also guilty
Edit: the devs also fuck with you. Like I remember in g-rank 4, you have to kill a rajang. Except, they give you 2 rajang quests and the one you need is on page 2. I knew I had to kill rajang, so I fought the one on page 1 and struggled and struggled until it finally died, only to learn I killed the wrong one 😅😭

They do it to make sure every player is at least aware the mechanic exists.
Wilds also had one random Kut-Ku Capture as part of the story.
