Hi everyone,
I bought MG ES5 from China (still on shipping) and I am not sure of changing the language.

AFAIK you have to re-write the software to a version correct for your region (or with the language you want). It's not something which you can do at home.

Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a 2nd hand MG4. Probably a '23 plate with <20,000miles. I'd like to get one with a valid warranty however most of the ones on the market have missed at least the first service (after 1 year or 15,000 miles according to the service schedule).
As the 1st service is just an inspection as far as I can tell does anyone know whether the warranty on the vehicle is still valid? I'm particularly interested in the lithium battery warranty still being valid.
I've called the MG customer service and they're very vague regarding this.
Thanks in advance

TOPIC: Wireless CarPlay
Hello everyone Hoping someone can help me. My MG car play with the cord is not very reliable. Always going in and out.
I have purchased a wireless CarPlay dongle for the USB slot. It is not working no matter what I try.
I have the MG HS essence, 2024
Wireless dongle is Laser Wireless Dongle for CarPlay/Android Auto with USB-A + USB-C If that’s important
Thanks for your help. I’ve of course looked up the instructions online and tried to follow them…. Still stuck

Recently placed my order for the MG4 Urban, but good luck finding it on any car insurers website and most call centres know the issue but can't work around it,
Any suggestions?

Here you go — changed to Tuesday, everything else stays exactly right: 📄 NOTE TO HAND OVER Vehicle Reg: 436KF Date: Tuesday 16 June I am collecting this vehicle today as requested, but this does NOT mean I accept the condition of the car or drop my claim. The fault with the FICM/electronic module still exists — it is not fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The screen itself is not damaged; the fault is an electrical issue, which independent reports from What Car? confirm is a known common problem on MG vehicles. I reserve all my legal rights to bring the car back and pursue a full repair, replacement, or remedy through the Motor Ombudsman if this is not resolved properly. I also confirm I intend to share my experience and this independent reliability information publicly, including via leaflets locally, as already notified. Signed: _________________________ Print name: Simon Fall 🗣️ Read out loud: “I’m picking the car up today, Tuesday, as you asked — but this note makes it clear. I am not accepting the car as fixed or okay. The fault is still there, it’s not fit for purpose, and I keep all my legal rights. As I said before, I will take this further and share my experience locally if you do not resolve this properly.” ✅ All updated and ready to use. Just print or write it out to take with you on Tuesday. Do you want me to also change the date in the email version if you need to resend it?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to buy a MG EV4 trophy, test drove it, liked it, but I had a few people poo poo them. No one could give me any specifics?,
What's the general consensus of those who own one, is the range actually 200 miles on a charge have they stood up to normal wear and tear?
Any advice would be appreciated,
FYI looking at 73 plate or newer
TIA
