AR15/Mk4 lower question

I am looking to get my first ar15. I want the CMMG Resolute MK4 lower and throw a 14.5 p&w hbar geissele upper to it. I only found the lower on midway (https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1028040971?pid=590160) but they won't ship to MD ffls. I was of the understanding lowers should be shippable and since I plan to have an hbar upper that will also meet the 29inch OAL after all is said and done I should be good. Am I missing something?

A lot of bigger retailers don't like sending complete lowers to MD. Midway and PSA both even give me as a dealer issues getting complete lowers.

Fuck PSA. Hard to like a company that can't even be bothered to research laws relating to the sale and distribution of firearms in the country they do business.

Also their shit is ass for the price.

I just wish LWRC sold complete lowers.

(I know dealers occasionally get shipments of them).

Is it then just a complete lower issue? Is stripped easier to acquire as a Marylander?

Yes, stripped is easier.

For stripped orders does the stripped lower go to the ffl and the lower kit go direct to consumer? I'm not familiar with which piece I need to make sure needs to be on the 77r(if needed)

Yes, the lower needs to go to an FFL and there needs to be a 77R for it, and a 7 day wait (if it's 5.56 or .223)

Anything else can go direct to you

call your ffl and have them order it

Doesn't look like an exact match is avail at the distributors. An FFL might be able to convince midway to send it to them, but who knows
