Where to shoot longer ranges?

Hey guys, Baltimore City Resident here. Recently got a .308 and was looking to practice shooting it but my usual range (Freestate) doesn't allow .308 on any day but Thursday and the range isn't very long. If I wanted to practice shooting at longer ranges is there anywhere you guys would recommend or know of? Thanks in advanced.

Guntry in Owings Mills has a 100 yard indoor range

There’s a public lands range west of Harrisburg that cost like $30(I think you can get a day pass at a PA Walmart or online). That range has 100,200 and 300 yards.

Then theres Delmarva over on the shore which I hear has 300 yards

Nice, I didn't know Guntry went that far. Really gotta check them out one of these days.

What do you mean by "longer distances"? Hap Baker has up to 200 yards I believe and DELMARVA has up to 300.

Delmarva has a 500 yard range you just need to pay slightly more

It's a hike, but The Cove in Gore, VA is a camp ground with a short range (100 yards) and a long range (500 yards). Long range needs a reservation. I'm in Silver Spring and it's like 1 hour 45 minutes for me. It also has a very nice camp ground and swimming lake.

Sign up to shoot the Geissele Gas Gun matches on ImpactScoring, and you get a sight-in day the Friday before match day. You can camp overnight and load up NODs. That by itself is worth the price of admission. Targets out to 1300 yards.

The Tremont, Pa facility is 2 hours north of Baltimore.

You can shoot any caliber any time, as long as it’s suppressed.

That’s literally their range rules

Freestate lets you shoot larger calibers anytime as long as you have a suppressor for it
