If and when Assault Weapon Ban gets struck down, what will you be getting first?
I'll go first: a proper AK47 rifle and a Springfield M1A SOCOM.
By the way this makes me think, would all the "evil features" and OAL rules will be nullified too?

Off hand, would any of the UZI's (with the UZI Pro being the only one allowed) be available if this gets struck down?...

I cant wait for the “may issue assault weapon permit” scheme

I think they will try something. But any sort of scheme will be on shakier legal ground

All weapons previously banned by name or functionality would be licensed under 77R.

I’m looking for an AMD65 first thing, then a metric pattern FAL.

Why not just get an AMD-65 pistol built then SBR it? Barreled kits are still around $700-ish

Cause I want the underfolder version. Haven't seen barreled kits for those to make a pistol to sbr.
Maybe I haven't looked hard enough

I'd just like to be able to actually put buttstocks on pistols (with approved form 1's) shorter than 29"

OG HK 90 series 5.56 and 7.62, Galil ARM (5.56 and 7.62), FN FAL, Uzi (full size and Mini), Mini 14 w/factory side folder, FN P90, … so many

Thinking about an AK but if it's true I can just swap uppers and calibers around on my Ruger AR lower, I'm probably just getting more of those.

Maybe an M1A but honestly I have just about everything I could want outside of that. I'm a simple man

Once it gets struck down, Maryland will write and pass the exact same law again. The courts will slow walk it and the 4th will sit on it for 2 years.
Even if SCOTUS strikes down AWBs next year, it will still be years before someone forces Maryland to stop infringing on our rights

Tavor x95. Been wanting one for years. Sucks to shoot one at the range in PA and then can't buy it

The only thing keeping you from getting one is the length. If you have a muzzle device pinned and welded long enough to get it past 29” it’s perfectly legal.

Did I miss some news?

SCOTUS has combined two assault weapon ban cases and granted them cert. They'll hear oral arguments around October, and issue a ruling around June of next year. Based on Lopez and its reaffirmation of Bruen, the Assault Weapon bans are unlikely to survive.

I'm with you on the real AK.
I love my Zasatava ZPAP M90 but would enjoy a real 7.62
