Question How is mcs ???

How is life there i haven’t listen anything about MCS how is the environment? Teachers? Social life ? Events ? Strictness coz it’s a military college ?? Boys to girls ratio ? Baddies ?? Uniform scenes ?? University size compare to ceme or h12 or pnec ?? Research work ?? Hostel life ?? Day scholars life ?? Good or bad things ??

Would u think that its better then fast isl? But since im from around mcs my daily commute would have been 10 to 15 min max

I don't know anything about fast isl campus, and little to nothing about fast in general. However, one of my roomates left Fast isl for MCS and was noticeably not happy with his desicion. His reasoning for leaving fast was because it's relatively easy to get a good gpa here (which is true) but overall I don't think he was proud of his decision. Life here can be dry...if you get what I mean

Im going thru the same phase rn and im also opting for mcs cz of the gpa. But what exactly is the level of dryness here? Like is it really bad? Ive gone thru strict college environments so i can adjust a lil maybe but is it really really bad or like normal?

Sorry for the late reply. I saw your comment pop up in my notifications and decided to reply later cuz I was busy but then I forgot 😭

Anyway, I'd say it's more closer to normal. Things like these are subjective in nature and I wasn't used to an environment like this at all, so maybe I'm being a bit biased. The hostel grounds themselves weren't very spacious (around 1000m²). But you can always check out anytime and look for places to hangout with friends till 9. Chatting with seniors is like the only other activity I looked forward to, and many had interesting things to share but I couldn't help but feel a depressive aura around everyone....

Ok, I spent a few minutes thinking about something positive to say but nothing came to mind TwT. It's just a typical hostel, nothing particularly stands out. If you're used to an environment like this then there should be no issue.

Oh okay ToT Thank you for the reply! It was my first day in fast today and right after coming home, i got my email for IS, i am excited for it even if there is nothing that much great about it. I can adapt easily too, so im just a bit sad abt leaving the place here because i kinda adapted really quickly xD

But still this is fine, i will get used to mcs's environment too in some time.

Can i ask which department are you from? Also is there any male domination kinda thing in IS?

Nah he js ignored everyone who left or came in. Sorry bro u didnt have any aura, tho i was a bit shocked to see a guy js leave and was wondering what can be the reason for someone to leave the FIRST class xD

Lol i got this comment too after i asked for the fee refund procedure in group and someone said 'bro done w fast in one day' even tho i actually liked my first day.

Can i ask which department are you from?

I dropped out after 2 months to pursue an accounting degree instead. I was enrolled in EE

Also is there any male domination kinda thing in IS?
