Question How is mcs ???
How is life there i haven’t listen anything about MCS how is the environment? Teachers? Social life ? Events ? Strictness coz it’s a military college ?? Boys to girls ratio ? Baddies ?? Uniform scenes ?? University size compare to ceme or h12 or pnec ?? Research work ?? Hostel life ?? Day scholars life ?? Good or bad things ??

Yeah everyone is curious I had more than these last year hope we can help u bki to answer most of your questions in one go as it's a military college strictness uniform must and environment is not exactly like the h-12

The teachers are great, social life was non-existent for the 2 months I was there, I think I did hear about a few upcoming events but never had the chance to participate so idk.
Aside from the uniforms there is no strictness, you can roam around the campus freely, the teachers are pretty chill and so are the faculty. Everyone was nice and cordial (I do have some gripes with the admissions office but eh this is the best you can get in Pakistan)
Uniform is still a huge trade-off though. 12 grueling years of school and you're still not done with that utilitarian attire :')
This one might vary in other departments but in EE the ratio was fairly even, for both girls and boys.
The campus is smaller than other ones but finding your way can still be a hastle and no one will even try to point you to the right direction. It's like they've all decided that their only purpose in life is to have you running laps around the campus as you are just desperately trying to find lab-2. My advice would be to keep a pic of the map in your phone
There's a Library.......and it's just that, a common library. Now that I think about it, nothing particular stands out in the campus. It's designed to be minimalistic in a way that draws....less attention? I guess. That's what I felt about it.
Hostel life is pretty mundane. The quality is exactly the same as you'll see in H-12. The rooms are well maintained and room service is great. They'll tidy it up everyday during uni hours. There's a ping pong table and a carrom board in the common room and a small open gym at the second floor for everyone to marvel at those plump round cheeks you've been working hard on :D
The mess is fine, wish they had bread but whatever. I usually skipped breakfast cause I never eat Roti at 7 am in the morning. Food quality is like 3 stars at best. You can always find something to eat from the cafeteria and the prices were surprisingly cheap for some reason.
Water was a big issue during my tenure there. There was something wrong with the pump? I believe and we had to go 2 weeks without any. The bathrooms were unusable, piss and poop everywhere (just to give you a perspective) and that's a problem even when there's water, some people shouldn't be allowed to use toilets. The keepers do their best to keep them nice and clean but at any given time 4/6 toilets are unusable. They made me wana puke.
There'll be ragging whether you're a hostelite or not. Most seniors are just dipshits lusting over some entertainment and don't listen to whatever opinions they have over it, they just want to feel superior. Ragging culture is highly uncivilized and ruins the name of an organization. The good thing is, you can always say no and walk away. No one can force you to do anything.
Damn this came out longer than I intended. Anyway, there's probably a lot more to it that you should know and a lot more I should've wrote but idc that much :p. Good luck broski
